180 God’s Love

I

In this world, there is a vast sea of people;

no one knows that God has become a man in the world.

No one pays heed to Him, no one shows concern for Him;

He is alone and lonesome; how desolate, how sorrowful!

O God! O God! For whom You are suffering?

Why do we always grieve Your heart?

Why does mankind always resist You?

Why does the world always slander You?

O God! O God! I’m willing to love You; although I fail to satisfy You,

I will never leave You, under any circumstances.

II

In this world, there is a vast sea of people;

we are like a sand grain in the sands.

In this world no one pays heed to us;

in this world we have no way out, wandering everywhere.

God, it’s You who have regard for us;

God, it’s You who have uplifted us all.

We have been corrupted by Satan so deeply,

that we are extremely filthy like dung.

But God, You do not detest us, judging, chastising, and purifying us.

Our numb hearts have been aroused by You, deeply feeling that You are dear and lovely.

III

In this fortress of the demons,

who has broken away from his corruption and lived out the likeness of man?

There is no human life, there is no light,

what a dark, desolate, and miserable scene!

God, it’s You, the highest, who become small,

And humble Yourself to put on the flesh.

For saving man You come to this place,

and expend all Your painstaking care to save us.

O God! O God! You select us, and purify us to become a new man.

I’m willing to love You and obey You, and I will praise Your love forever on earth.
