29. The Reality of Truth You Must Enter in Order to Handle Matters With Principle

God requires that people handle matters with principle, and this is crucial for God’s chosen people to enter the reality of the truth. To handle matters without principle is to do things by one’s own will; that is, not to practice the truth. The primary expression of someone without the truth is that they handle matters without principle; no matter what they are handling or what duty they are performing, they just act by their own will, they do whatever they want, they act wantonly, they simply don’t seek the truth and they don’t discuss with others. The result is that everything they do is done in a way that goes against the truth and that defies God. Those with a slightly better humanity can only cling obstinately to rules, and apply them mechanically, without any principles whatsoever. Though they may not be doing anything obviously evil, they are simply at odds with the truth. If someone genuinely understands the truth, then they are able to handle matters with principle, and they know how to practice the truth and adhere to principles in the performance of their duties. At times when they don’t understand the truth, they are able to seek the truth, and they rely on their conscience to adhere to the fundamental principles of upholding God’s work and being of benefit to God’s chosen people. Practicing like this is at least in conformity with the truth and does not go against the truth. Whether or not someone is practicing the truth depends primarily on whether or not they handle matters with principle, in conformity with the truth and in a way that upholds God’s work. This is most key, and it is the most accurate way to discern whether or not someone is in possession of the reality of the truth. For example, some leaders and workers are unable to fellowship the truth to resolve problems, and neither do they support or provide for good people who sincerely believe in God, and who are capable of pursuing the truth. They even attack and exclude those good people who are capable of doing some practical work, and instead they absolutely must support evil people who walk the path of the antichrist, who may be gifted, but who don’t have a shred of the reality of the truth. In order to achieve their aims, they always distort the facts and confuse right and wrong, which results in a rise in evil and the suppression of good people. Leaders and workers like this don’t have a shred of the reality of the truth, and they are the ones who defy God and who walk the path of the antichrist, pure and simple. To measure whether or not a leader or a worker is in possession of the reality of the truth: Firstly, it depends on whether or not they exalt God and bear witness for God, and use the truth to resolve problems; secondly, it depends on what kind of person they elevate and cultivate, what kind of person they speak for and support, and what kind of person they attack and suppress—this is the best way to reveal whether someone is good or evil, and the issue of exactly what path they walk. If they are not decent and proper, honest and upright, if they are not someone with moral integrity, then they will be incapable of doing the positive work of supporting good people and providing for those who pursue the truth, they will be incapable of fellowshiping the truth to resolve the practical problems of God’s chosen people, and they will be incapable of genuinely providing for God’s chosen people and leading them into the reality of the truth. Because if someone harbors evil intentions and they have a bad humanity, then they will certainly not be in possession of the reality of the truth, and everything they do will be at odds with the truth and will most certainly go against the truth and defy God. If you discern them conscientiously, then you will certainly see that most of the work they do is negative. Only good people who genuinely pursue the truth can help and support good people to walk the right path; they are certainly able to treat people fairly and impartially in accordance with principles of the truth, and they are certainly able to do a great deal of such positive work as using the truth to resolve problems and supporting and cultivating good people—most of the work they do is positive. This is sufficient to show that only good people can genuinely pursue the truth and walk the right path, that only good people can do positive work while they are doing their duty and serving God, and that the people they support, provide for and cultivate will most certainly be good people who love the truth. Even though those who genuinely love the truth may not be able to understand the truth completely, so long as they handle matters by relying on their conscience and they have proper intentions, they will be absolutely incapable of committing the evil acts of oppressing righteousness and supporting wickedness, and absolutely incapable of doing negative work which harms rather than benefits God’s chosen people. They will be capable only of acting for the benefit of God’s chosen people, and this is for definite. There is a saying that goes, “Justice lives in the heart of man.” Kindhearted people who truly have conscience know naturally what justice and righteousness are, and what people commonly aspire toward. Even if malicious people know what actions conform to the truth, they still can’t put them into practice, and they involuntarily do evil and defy God—this is determined by man’s satanic nature. All those who support and provide for those who are truly God’s chosen people, who elevate and cultivate good people and who strike evil down, only they are good leaders who have the work of the Holy Spirit; all those who do not use the truth to resolve problems for God’s chosen people, who support and elevate evil people and who attack and suppress good people, they are false leaders who walk the path of the antichrist; all those whose every action is a positive work that benefits God’s chosen people are the leaders and workers who conform to God’s will; all those who do negative work that suppresses and harms God’s chosen people are false leaders and false workers. By discerning leaders and workers in this way, you absolutely cannot go wrong. Whether or not God’s chosen people are able to discern between those leaders and workers who are genuine and those who are false has a direct bearing on what path they walk and whether or not they will attain salvation and be perfected; God’s chosen people must be clear on this issue.

The majority of God’s chosen people are currently unable to find the accurate principles of practice in most of the 162 issues, and this is enough to show that most people have not yet genuinely understood the truth or entered into reality. When faced with these 162 issues, everyone is exposed, and everyone can see they are truly impoverished, blind and naked. Most people’s hearts are puzzled: “I used to understand everything, so how come I can’t find the principles of practice in these issues? Are the principles of practice so difficult to ascertain?” Actually, to those who understand the truth, they are simple and easy. Because, ordinarily, most people are good at talking doctrine and they speak empty phrases without focusing on reality. When they are faced with issues that relate to the essence of truth, they become dumbfounded. This is precisely the case where just one case can baffle a hero, if they are without the truth. Now, most people perform their duties, resolve problems and handle matters in a way that is lacking principles, and is even without principles. They always go against the truth and act by their own will. Without the truth, some people will actually act wildly and be self-righteous, and they are indeed so pitiful. Corrupt mankind who don’t pursue the truth are so pitiful, and all those who believe in God but who defy God and who don’t pursue the truth in the slightest are so foolish, absurd and ridiculous!

So how exactly can one ascertain the principles of practice of one truth? First, one must seek for where the reality of the truth is, get a feel for and ascertain the reality contained within the truth that relates to the issue, and then one will easily find the principles of practice. If you don’t understand the truths of these issues, then you will be unable to ascertain their principles of practice. It is meaningless to merely rely on your imaginations to formulate rules. Clinging obstinately to rules is not practicing the truth, because rules are not principles of practice. If you want to understand the truth, then you must clarify the several aspects of fundamental reality that make up the truth; you must also have knowledge of the relationship between the practical value and significance of the truth and normal humanity, know why God requires us to practice the truth and to enter into the reality of these truths in this way, and know what the practical significance is of these truths. This touches upon the issue concerning the image of a genuine person, and the issue concerning the essence of a person’s life. Only when someone possesses the essence of the truth in their life—that is, the reality of positive things—do they then possess the image of a genuine person. Therefore, their genuine image is composed of the reality of these truths. For example, people must possess many realities of the truth in their approach to God. It won’t do to have no faith, no reverence, no reliance, no obedience, no devotion, no knowledge and not to worship; rather, these realities of the truth of man’s faith, reverence, reliance, obedience, devotion, knowledge and worship of God should be the component parts which make up a person’s life. The moment these most fundamental realities of the truth become the essence of someone’s life, they then naturally live out the image of a genuine person. Of course, there are many more realities of the truth in God’s words that are component parts of the reality of a person’s life and, to live out a genuine human likeness, one must also be an honest person, keep one’s word, and have integrity, dignity and compassion. This is also what God requires, and of course it is also a reality of the truth which one should possess. To be compassionate, one must be respectful of others, be considerate, be tolerant and patient, be sympathetic and take pity on others. The reality of these positive things is both truth and life, and they are the reality that must be possessed by normal humanity. If someone lacks one aspect, then it is not complete. The image of a genuine person is composed of these many realities of the truth. Therefore, God’s requirement that we handle matters with principle and enter the reality of the truth is, to corrupt mankind, both salvation and perfection, and God saving mankind in this way is truly so meaningful. It can be seen that, if people don’t pursue to enter the reality of the truth, then they will be unable to attain these truths as their new life, and they will be unable to live out a true human likeness. They will just be people who do not genuinely believe in God, and who will not be saved or perfected.

Now, God’s chosen people have begun to focus on pursuing the truth and entering into reality. If you are able to completely understand, grasp, practice and apply the truths and the principles of practice in these 162 issues, if you are in your elements and are skillful enough, then you are guaranteed to fulfill your duty and serve God’s will, and in this way you will truly understand the truth and will enter into reality. If, with these 162 issues, you are able to handle matters with principle, then you will be entirely in conformity with God’s will; in this way, would you have to worry about whether or not you will be saved and perfected?

The principles of practice of these 162 issues are summarized and arranged below:

1. Whether or not they are able to accept the judgment and chastisement, the pruning and dealing, and the trials and refinement of God’s words, and whether or not they are truly obedient to God’s work;

2. Whether or not they gain new light from eating and drinking the words of God, whether or not they have their practical knowledge of the truth, and whether or not they have true knowledge of their own corrupt essence;

3. Whether or not they see results in their duties, whether or not they frequently exalt God and bear witness for God, and whether or not they have a God-fearing heart;

4. Whether or not their life disposition has changed, whether or not they have progressed over time, whether or not their interpersonal relationships become increasingly normal, and whether or not they can treat others fairly.

116. The Principles of Discerning Heresies and Fallacies

1. Anything that does not come from God or from God’s words—so long as it runs counter to God’s words and the truth—is heretical and fallacious;

2. All ideas and theories that deny God, deny God’s words and the truth and which do not pertain to positive things, are heretical and fallacious;

3. All words that come from Satan and from all manner of evil spirits, no matter who tries to pass them off, are heretical and fallacious;

4. All hereditary culture, conceptions and imaginings and academic theories that arise from corrupt humanity and which oppose God’s words, are heretical and fallacious.

117. The Principles of Discerning All Manner of Evil Spirits

1. All those who are possessed by demons or who often have evil spirits working on them are evil spirits. All those who hate the truth and who wildly defy God are evil spirits;

2. All those who try to pass themselves off as God’s firstborn sons or as angels, or who do not bear witness for the true God but bear witness for themselves, or who wish to be God, are evil spirits;

3. All those who are unable to purely understand God’s words, who are exceptionally absurd and preposterous, who always misinterpret God’s words and propagate fallacies, are definitely evil spirits;

4. All those who deny God, attack God, blaspheme against God, who especially hate the truth and hate the man used by the Holy Spirit, are all evil spirits that are the reincarnations of evil demons.

118. The Principles of Discerning When Evil Spirits Are Trying to Deceive People

1. If anyone tries to pass themselves off as Christ or as an angel, and they are always telling lies and they do not conform to God’s words at all, then they are an evil spirit trying to deceive people;

2. Whosoever declares themselves God’s beloved son, firstborn son, an angel, or a prophet come to speak and work, who speaks words that seem true but are actually false, is an evil spirit trying to deceive people;

3. All those whose understanding abilities are of extraordinary absurdities, who always propagate heresies and fallacies, who distort facts and deny God’s work, are evil spirits trying to deceive people;

4. All those who focus on the supernatural, who say they often hear voices and see visions, who can know and point out the sins of others and perform miracles and wonders, are evil spirits trying to deceive people.

119. The Principles for Discerning Antichrist Demons

1. All antichrist demons are arrogant and conceited, refuse to obey anyone, don’t have a place for God in their heart whatsoever, and never exalt or bear witness to God;

2. All antichrist demons hate the truth, resist the truth, they never know themselves, especially arrogant and self-righteous, and moreover they don’t accept or practice the truth;

3. Antichrist demons only strive for power and profit, always want to deceive, entrap and control people to set up their own independent kingdom, and like to associate with wicked people and evil spirits;

4. All antichrist demons have a deep-rooted hatred for the man used by the Holy Spirit, and adopt all sorts of arguments and slander to attack and condemn as they scheme to replace him.

120. The Principles of Discerning All Kinds of Evil People

1. Evil people especially hate the truth, they never accept the truth or accept God’s judgment or chastisement, and they accept being pruned and dealt with even less;

2. Evil people are unreasonable, are adept at saying that black is white and distorting facts, they like to subjugate and harm others, and they will use unscrupulous means to achieve their aims;

3. Evil people have not one shred of conscience or reason, and they are utterly insensible no matter how much evil they do or to what extent they harm others—they are like cold-blooded animals;

4. All evil people definitely have no love for the truth, but only love evil. They cannot help but do evil, and even if they appear to be eating and drinking the words of God, it is only done for show.

121. The Principles of Distinguishing the Wheat From the Tares

Whether someone is wheat or tares depends on:

1. Whether or not they have true faith in God, whether or not they truly accept God’s judgment and chastisement, and truly obey God’s work;

2. Whether or not they have real prayer and association with God, whether or not they have a God-fearing heart, and whether or not they have obtained the work of the Holy Spirit;

3. Whether or not someone’s heart genuinely loves the truth and pursues the truth, whether or not they can accept the truth and practice the truth, and whether or not they can unite in concerted effort with their brothers and sisters;

4. Whether or not they truly do their duty, whether or not they can practice the truth and have good deeds in the performance of their duty, and whether or not they are devoted to God.

122. The Principles of Discerning Letters and Doctrines

1. Letters and doctrines all arise from people’s analysis and explanations of God’s words. They are not true experience and knowledge, and they represent man’s conceptions and imaginings;

2. Doctrines arise from the minds and thinking of man. They are not the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit and are not true experience, and they can’t stir people’s hearts or benefit them;

3. Letters and doctrines are all rules and external ways of doing things. They have no principles of practice and no path, and they restrain people from attaining deliverance;

4. Preaching letters and doctrines is not bearing witness for God, but rather it is showing off oneself. It makes people admire caliber and gifts, and they have absolutely no knowledge of God.

123. The Principles of Discerning Whether or Not One Is in Possession of the Reality of the Truth

Whether or not someone is in possession of the reality of the truth depends on:

1. Whether or not they have true knowledge of God, and whether or not they can see through the essence of problems according to God’s words so as to use the truth to resolve these problems;

2. Whether or not they can practice the truth and be devoted to God in their duties, whether or not they can exalt God, bear witness for God and lead people into the reality of the truth;

3. Whether or not they truly accept the judgment and chastisement, and the pruning and dealing of God’s words, and whether or not they truly obey and worship God;

4. Whether or not their view on things, their outlook on life and their values have transformed, whether or not they are an honest person, and whether or not they have changed their life disposition.

124. The Principles of Discerning the Essence of One’s Nature

1. Determine the essence of someone’s nature by looking, based on their preferences, at exactly what they focus on pursuing and what path they enjoy walking;

2. Determine the essence of someone’s nature on the basis of their weaknesses, their Achilles’ heels and what limits them most severely;

3. Determine the essence of someone’s nature on the basis of their consistent performance, the dispositions they frequently express, and what kind of people they choose and like to associate with;

4. The essence of a person’s nature may be confirmed from the world view, outlook on life and values they hold to, as well as the path they walk.

125. The Principles of Distinguishing Between True and False Churches

Whether a church is true or false depends on:

1. Whether or not the church life has the work of the Holy Spirit, whether or not they truly fellowship the truth in meetings, and whether or not the lives of God’s chosen people are progressing gradually;

2. Whether or not the church leaders love the truth, pursue the truth and have the work of the Holy Spirit, and whether or not they truly understand the truth and practice the truth;

3. Whether it is the truth that holds sway in the church, or evil people, and whether it is those who pursue the truth who hold sway, or evil people and people who cause disturbance;

4. Only where those who genuinely pursue the truth and have the work of the Holy Spirit assemble is a church. Where evil and muddleheaded people gather is a religious site—not a church.

126. The Principles of Distinguishing Between Pursuing the Truth and Having a Muddleheaded Belief

Whether someone is pursuing the truth or they have a muddleheaded belief depends on:

1. Whether they focus on eating and drinking God’s words, accept God’s judgment and chastisement and have constant life progression, or whether they scheme against other people, cause disturbances and muddle along day by day;

2. Whether they focus on understanding the truth, fulfilling their duty and entering into reality, or whether they focus on external ways of doing things and superficial enthusiasm, and they refuse to acknowledge their mistakes;

3. Whether they focus on seeking the truth to resolve their problems of corruption when they encounter issues, or whether they are muddleheaded, they pay consideration to their flesh and greedily lust after a life of comfort and ease;

4. Whether they practice the truth and obey God in their duties, or whether they are slipshod in their duties, they try to deceive God and obstinately refuse to repent.

127. The Principles of Distinguishing Between Positive and Negative Things

Whether something is positive or negative depends on:

1. Whether it comes with God’s work and arises from within God’s words and the truth, or whether it comes from Satan and evil spirits, or has been processed and disguised by them;

2. Whether it is something which God requires people to seek to have, and which conforms to God’s words and the truth, or whether it pertains to world trends and is something which worldly people pursue;

3. Whether it edifies people, benefits them and enables them to be positive, or whether it corrupts people, ruins them and causes them to become negative and perish;

4. Whether it restores people’s normal humanity and enables them to obey God and worship God, or whether it causes them to be degenerate and decadent, and walk toward death.

128. The Principles of Distinguishing Between Practicing the Truth and Good Behavior

Whether someone is practicing the truth or is behaving well depends on:

1. Whether they act according to the requirements and principles of God’s words and according to the enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit, or whether they act in accordance with their emotions, preferences, conceptions and imaginings, or their own experiences;

2. Whether they act according to the reality of the truth they understand and in accordance with principles, or whether they cling to rules, go through the motions and focus on external ways of doing things;

3. Whether they possess reality and achieve results in their practice of the truth, or whether they make a big fuss over small matters to give people a false impression;

4. Whether they revere God, are devoted to God and achieve real results in the performance of their duties, or whether they are slipshod in their duties, they go through the motions, and they engage in disguising and deceit.

129. The Principles of Distinguishing Between Those Who Follow God and Those Who Follow Man

Whether someone follows God or follows man depends on:

1. Whether they pray to God, seek the truth, rely on God and look up to God in all things and allow God to hold sway, or whether they always look up to man, heed and follow man;

2. Whether they choose to obey God’s words and words that conform to the truth, or whether they only heed what people say, uphold man in all things and are restrained by man;

3. Whether they only obey the leadership of God and the man used by the Holy Spirit, or whether they are restrained and controlled by false leaders, antichrists and evil people;

4. Whether they focus on accepting the truth, and obey the truth according to God’s words in all things, or whether they submit to man’s status, spiritual doctrines and life philosophies.

130. The Principles of How to Treat People According to Their Essence

1. So long as someone is confirmed to be an evil person, an evil spirit or an antichrist in essence, then they must be expelled or purged no matter how much evil they have done;

2. Those whose essence is not that of an evil person, an evil spirit or an antichrist, but is of someone with a bad humanity who has transgressed, should be helped with a loving heart and given the opportunity to repent;

3. You should watch and wait regarding those with special problems, whose essence you are temporarily unable to see through. They may be handled when you are able to see through their essence and define it;

4. You must not judge or condemn people according to their momentary expressions, but must determine their essence according to their consistent performance, and treat people fairly by relying on the principles of the truth.

131. The Principles of Determining One’s Duty and Place

1. Obey the arrangements of the church and perform your duty. As long as most of God’s chosen people see it as appropriate, then that is your appropriate place;

2. Determine the appropriate duty for you to perform based on your own caliber, strengths, and your actual stature. As long as most others look upon it favorably, the position you hold is suitable;

3. No matter what duty you are performing, you must have confirmation of the work of the Holy Spirit. In your duty, it is only correct and suitable if you feel you are in your element and you handle affairs in a principled way;

4. You must frequently pray about your duty and obey God’s arrangements without question. Perform your duty under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and you will meet God’s will.

132. The Principles of Church Admission

1. Church admission must be handled in accordance with principles. You must guard against evil people, evil spirits and the great red dragon’s spies infiltrating the church;

2. Anyone who sincerely believes in God—as long as their essence is not determined to be that of an evil person, an evil spirit, or anyone to whom the gospel may not be spread—may be admitted into the church;

3. Anyone who has been isolated due to having become known to the authorities or has left the church because they could not bear to part with the world, may only be admitted back to the church if they have a good humanity which has been verified by many;

4. Those who display practical expressions of true repentance or atonement after being expelled may be admitted only with the verification and agreement of the majority of God’s chosen people.

133. The Principles of Isolating People From the Church

1. Those who have been arrested and then released must first be isolated for three to six months regardless of the circumstances, in case of potential danger;

2. Those who frequently disturb and interrupt the church life, who pay no heed to dissuasion and who refuse to mend their ways after being pruned and dealt with, may be isolated;

3. False leaders and workers who have a bad humanity, who have many transgressions and a bad reputation, but who are not evil people, must be replaced and isolated so that they may examine themselves;

4. The church may only isolate someone with the approval of over 80 percent of people throughout the whole church. This decision may be lifted only if the person truly repents.

134. The Principles for Church’s Expelling People

1. The church must follow God’s words of truth and the principles prescribed in the work arrangements to determine that someone cannot be saved before making the decision to expel them;

2. The church must only implement the procedure of expelling someone if God’s chosen people all acknowledge that in essence that person belongs to one of the five kinds of people that should be expelled. No one can be expelled based on momentary transgressions;

3. The church must expel people that belong to the gang of an antichrist that follow the antichrist and run and toil for the antichrist and do not repent;

4. A person can only be expelled if all levels of workers and leaders and more than 80% of the members of the church have determined that he or she cannot be saved.

135. The Principles for Church’s Purging People

1. The church must follow God’s words, the truth and the principles prescribed in the work arrangements to determine that someone cannot be saved before making the decision to purge them;

2. The church implements the purging procedures for dead people that do not understand any of the truth, and people who cannot fulfill their duties and play a bad role in the church;

3. The church implements purging procedures for those who, according to their manifestations, are determined as evil spirits and filthy demons, evil people, absurd people, wooden-headed people, tactless and impulsive people and troublemakers;

4. The church can implement purging procedures only if all levels of workers and leaders and more than 80% of the church people consent.

136. The Principles of How to Approach One’s Future and Destiny

1. People’s destiny is held in God’s hands—people are not in charge of their own destiny. Obeying God’s sovereignty and arrangements is Heaven’s law and earth’s principle;

2. Have faith that everything God does is righteous, have true faith in God, and obey God’s sovereignty and arrangements in living and dying;

3. Do not be restrained by the future and destiny. No matter what blessings you gain or misfortunes you suffer, only pursuing the truth, knowing God and loving God is the most meaningful life;

4. Believe in God with all your heart even if you have no future and no destiny. Fulfilling your duty to repay God’s love is the conscience and reason people should have.

137. The Principles of How to Approach Natural Calamities and Man-made Misfortunes

1. No matter what natural calamity or man-made misfortune befalls, you must have faith that God is righteous and almighty, and that everything God does is truthful and meaningful;

2. Corrupt mankind all possess satanic natures and the poisons of the great red dragon. You must accept judgment and chastisement before you can be purified, and you should obey God’s orchestrations and arrangements;

3. You should have the faith of Job in disasters and trials. Do not complain against God, do not deny God and do not abandon God, but stand firm in your testimony for God;

4. You must understand that sympathizing with the devil Satan is defying and betraying God. Even if God terminates our flesh and our families, we must still praise His righteousness.

138. The Principles for Treating Illness

1. Mankind has been deeply corrupted by Satan. Prior to their salvation, it is not unusual for people to fall ill, and such illnesses should be faced correctly, without complaint;

2. The onset of illness is God’s love, it is God’s judgment, chastisement, and cleansing of man, and the key is whether people are able to seek the truth and obey God;

3. It is not by chance that people are beset by serious illness. Before God, they should look within themselves, see whether they have committed any transgressions, and confess and repent to God;

4. Do not blindly adhere to doctrine. Based on your stature and understanding, you can choose medical treatment or reliance on faith. But what’s important is whether or not you are cleansed.

139. The Principles of How to Approach Death

1. The life and death of man is in God’s hands, it is all arranged and predestined by God, and man should not make their own choices;

2. Man’s flesh and souls all belong to God, and never to themselves. They should be given over into God’s hands, and you should submit to God’s orchestrations in living and dying;

3. God is righteous and He scrutinizes the innermost heart of man. His arrangements for each and every person are fair and reasonable—do not judge things you cannot understand;

4. God allows us to live each day and so we should live for God. We need to give our lives, and it is incumbent upon us to obey God’s arrangements and stand witness.

140. The Principles of How to Approach Love and Marriage

1. You may choose according to your own understanding—there are no rules. No one has the right to interfere in this matter, but neither must it interfere with your belief in God or the performance of your duties;

2. Giving up marriage for the sake of pursuing the truth and fulfilling your duty is a special testimony in conformity with God’s will—it is extremely wise and worthy of God’s praise;

3. If you really cannot overcome your flesh, then you may choose a suitable partner. A minimum requirement of your decision is that it must benefit your life. You must not impact the real work of believing in God for the sake of satisfying your flesh;

4. Respect appropriate love and marriage. Multiple marriages go against the truth and against moral principles. Those who play at marriage are evil spirits and filthy demons.

141. The Principles for Behavior Toward Your Wife or Husband and Children

1. If your wife or husband and children all believe in God, you should allow yourselves to be governed by God’s words and the truth, and leave yourselves in the charge of Christ. You should learn how to support and obey each other;

2. If your wife or husband and children are not believers, but do not oppose your belief, if it is according to the principles for spreading the gospel, you should often testify to God’s love and bring them before God;

3. You should take an enlightened approach to wives, husbands, or children who oppose the belief in God and hate the truth. You should not force the wicked to believe in God and enter the church;

4. For family members who are not believers, you should choose whether to stay with or leave them based on whether they support your belief or are against it, and according to their degree of opposition and harm.

142. The Principles of How to Approach Children’s Education

1. Guiding your children to believe in God and worship God is an incumbent parental responsibility. You should fellowship the truth and bear witness to God’s love, enabling them to know God;

2. You should guide your children to walk the right path of belief in God according to God’s words and the truth, so that they may understand the truth of mankind’s corruption and the significance of belief in God;

3. Whether your children choose to believe in God or go to college, parents may only fellowship the truth and implement guidance. You must respect your children’s decisions, and never compel them;

4. You should not require your children to rise above others or glorify your ancestors. Real glory is learning some practical knowledge to understand the truth and walk the right path in life.

143. The Principles of Interpersonal Association

1. Be principled in your contact with others. Do not engage in life philosophies or physical interactions, but establish normal interpersonal relations in conformity with the principles of the truth;

2. You must possess normal humanity, be able to love one another, be an honest person, and be able to respect, understand, tolerate and exercise patience with one another;

3. Seek to be an honest person. Because mankind has been corrupted so deeply, you should be wise and principled in your association with others, in a way that is beneficial to others, to yourself and to the church;

4. Treat others correctly—do not think too highly of them or disparage them. Be able to treat other people’s imperfections and transgressions correctly, and treat other people both fairly and impartially.

144. The Principles of Associating With the Opposite Sex

1. We must see clearly the substance of the wicked promiscuity of the descendants of Moab. Only when one pursues truth, and knows God’s disposition as righteousness and holiness will he be able to keep himself chaste;

2. One must have dignity and decency, and diligently pursue truth in doing one’s duty, often accepting God’s observation. If an evil thought arises, pray to God immediately for protection;

3. As much as possible, avoid working together alone with members of the opposite sex. In speech and activity be principled and have a standard of behavior. Be controlled not dissolute;

4. A prudent man foresees the evil, and hides himself. If temptation is encountered, best pray to God, and stay far away from wicked members of the opposite sex and trouble spots.

145. The Principles of How to Approach World Trends

1. All world trends have their source in the evil forces of Satan. Their essence is a negative thing which defies God, denies God and opposes the truth;

2. World trends are indeed a giant vat of sin and licentiousness, and you should see through the dark, evil and filthy corrupt truth of world trends;

3. Recognize that all world trends are games Satan uses to toy with people, luring people’s hearts so that they shun God, defy God and bring about their own ruin;

4. In your belief in God you should pursue the truth and shun evil things, and do not follow world trends. You should live in the light of God’s words and live by God’s words.

146. The Principles on Treating Festivals and Customs

1. Traditional customs are all tricks of Satan for toying with people. They have not been established by God, and He hates the human festivals and customs;

2. People who believe in God should not pay mind to or follow the customs of corrupt humanity. They should advocate for positive things, and allow the truth to flourish;

3. Appropriate celebration on festivals is permitted, but it cannot interfere with carrying out your duty. Only doing things that God is pleased with is true happiness;

4. When performing your duty in different places with different customs, you must learn to go with the flow and adapt to the environment, but you cannot let your heart be taken over by it.

147. The Principles on Treating Traditional Culture

1. Most of traditional culture comes from Satan or evil spirits, and it is the satanic pernicious influence that denies God and is an enemy to the truth, and is a negative thing;

2. Traditional culture is an invisible bind that ties and shackles mankind. It is a tool for Satan, the king of devils to confuse, control, and swallow people whole;

3. Traditional culture makes people more and more corrupt, depraved, degenerate, and farther and farther from God. It makes people become enemies of God;

4. If you discern and dissect the essence of traditional culture based on God’s words and the truth, you will be entirely able to see into its corruption and reactionary nature, and you will be able to hate and reject it.

148. The Principles of How to Approach Practical Knowledge

1. Practical knowledge is beneficial to improving one’s caliber and is something you should possess. You should approach it correctly and learn to master it;

2. Knowledge is not the truth and cannot become people’s life. It is merely a tool that people cannot live without—do not have blind faith in it or worship it;

3. Only by possessing the truth can you correctly approach and make rational use of knowledge. Without the truth and only with knowledge, you cannot extricate yourself from Satan’s corruption;

4. You may learn to master practical knowledge sufficiently, but only by focusing on pursuing the truth can you be saved.

149. The Principles of How to Approach Knowledge and Science

1. Neither knowledge nor science are the truth, but are weapons used by Satan and evil demons to corrupt people. Seeking knowledge and science is the path of destruction;

2. Neither knowledge nor science can save mankind. They can only corrupt people, cause people to shun God and deny the truth, and wreak destruction on man;

3. The more knowledge people have, the more they defy God, and the more it can lead people’s outlook on life, values, ideas and viewpoints to become more evil, reactionary, absurd and preposterous;

4. Neither knowledge nor science can resolve the problems of man’s corruption—they can only accelerate mankind’s destruction. Only the truth can save mankind.

150. The Principles of How to Approach Religious and Theological Theories

1. Religious and theological theories are counterfeit, bogus copies of the truth. They are all doctrines that appear true but are actually false, and which cause people to delimit and defy God;

2. Religious and theological theories absolutely do not come from the enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit, but come from man’s conceptions, imaginings, and logical reasoning—they are fraudsters’ lies;

3. Religious and theological theories are not the truth and they cannot save man. The more people seek theological knowledge the more wildly arrogant and self-important they become, and they deny the truth and defy God;

4. Religious and theological theories are exceedingly bewitching empty theories, without a shred of the reality of the truth. You must use the truth to expose, refute and repudiate them utterly.

151. The Principles of How to Treat Religious Personages

1. Religious personages are all religious frauds, with no knowledge of God whatsoever. They are antichrists who think they serve God but actually defy God—do not put blind faith in them or worship them;

2. Religious personages do not have the truth and they do not have the work of the Holy Spirit. They all think they believe in God but they actually defy Him, and the path they walk is that of the antichrist;

3. Religious personages are the hypocritical modern-day Pharisees hated by God. You should expose them, be able to discern them, and abandon those who obstinately refuse to repent;

4. Those who are able to accept the truth, seek the true way and who have the enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit should be admitted, treated with a loving heart, and helped to the utmost of your ability.

152. The Principles of Resolving Conceptions and Imaginings

1. You must affirm that only God is the truth. No matter how good they may be, people’s conceptions and imaginings are still empty, unpractical doctrines, which are of no benefit to people;

2. People’s conceptions and imaginings do not conform to God’s words and are ill-suited to the essence of the truth. You cannot be saved by living in conceptions and imaginings;

3. God’s words and the truth are the sole bane of conceptions. Only by reading God’s words more and pursuing the truth more will you be able to resolve all your conceptions and imaginings;

4. Through pursuing and seeking the truth you will attain true knowledge of God, and only then will you be able to attain the truth, enter into reality and receive God’s blessings.

153. The Principles of Choosing a Path of Belief in God

1. In your belief in God, you should obey God’s work, and choose to walk Peter’s path of pursuing the truth and being perfected. You must never walk Paul’s path of the antichrist;

2. In your belief in God, you should follow closely and obey the leadership and shepherding of the man used by the Holy Spirit. Never follow false leaders or antichrists into walking the path of defying God;

3. In your belief in God, you should follow only God. It would be better to render service to God than live within the evil trends of the world, dragging out an ignoble life and becoming a filthy demon;

4. In your belief in God, you should choose the correct path according to God’s words. Only by living by God’s words and the truth can you be human. Never live by satanic philosophies or fallacies.

154. The Principles of Possessing True Faith

1. True faith in God arises from believing in and knowing God’s words, and is established upon the foundation of understanding the truth and knowing God’s work;

2. In God’s words, you must focus on seeking to understand the truth, so as to know God’s work and produce faith and strength;

3. You must accept God’s judgment and chastisement, pruning and dealing, and trials and refinement, so as to know God’s righteous disposition and produce a God-fearing heart;

4. Pray and seek the truth in all things, have real association with God, and enable people to have great faith in God and to truly have knowledge of Him by obtaining the work of the Holy Spirit.

155. The Principles of Spending for God

1. Spending for God is a created being’s duty and responsibility, by Heaven’s law and earth’s principle. Regardless of how your end will be, you should fulfill your duty properly and you shouldn’t regret;

2. In spending for God, you should harbor right intentions, not covet fame and fortune, not seek remuneration and not be slipshod, but do it only to repay God’s love and satisfy God;

3. If you truly dedicate yourself to spending for God, then you must put yourself at the disposal of the arrangements of God’s family, learn to obey, submit to God’s orchestrations and not make personal decisions;

4. You should decide how to spend for God according to the needs of the work of God’s family, your own faith and stature, and the duties you are able to perform.

156. The Principles of Setting up a Church

1. As long as around 20 people truly accept God’s work and demand to live the church life, then a church may be set up;

2. The vote to set up a church must be presided over by a church leader, a gospel deacon or a watering deacon;

3. Once the leaders and deacons of the church have been elected, a prayer meeting presided over by those who set up the church is to be held, God’s words are to be read, and the church’s establishment is to be formally announced;

4. The name of the church may be determined according to the local geographical name. Once the church is set up, it must be divided into small meeting groups, with numbers of people determined depending on circumstances.

157. The Principles of Obeying the Church

1. As long as church decisions conform to God’s words, the truth, and to the prescribed principles of work arrangements, then you should accept and obey them. You should not refuse or defy them;

2. As long as arrangements and decisions benefit church work and God’s chosen people, then you should accept and obey them. You should not refuse or defy them;

3. As long as arrangements and decisions are approved with the agreement of the majority of God’s chosen people, then you should accept and obey them. You should not refuse or defy them;

4. Obeying an individual leader or worker is absolutely not obeying the church. Absolutely no individual leader or worker can represent the church—God’s chosen people must be clear on this.

158. The Principles of Seeking Salvation

1. You must accept God’s judgment and chastisement, pruning and dealing, and trials and refinement, so as to know God’s righteous disposition;

2. You must be able to accept the truth and obey the truth from eating and drinking God’s words, and obtain the enlightenment, illumination and guidance of the work of the Holy Spirit;

3. You must establish a normal relationship with God, be absolutely able to obey God’s work and perform the duty you are supposed to do, and be devoted to God;

4. You must seek the truth and practice the truth in all things and live by God’s words so as to cast off the dark influence of Satan and truly obey God.

159. The Principles of Seeking to Be Perfected

1. You must give your heart to God, dedicate yourself completely to God, seek to be an honest person and walk Peter’s path of loving God;

2. You must obey all of God’s work. Be able to accept and obey it no matter how much God’s work is at odds with man’s conceptions, and be faithful only to God;

3. You must seek to know God, resolve your estrangement from God, your conceptions and satanic dispositions, be an honest person, and become someone who truly loves God;

4. You must accept all manner of trials and refinement, focus on changing your life disposition, be absolutely able to obey God and live by God’s words, and be of one mind with God.

160. The Principles of Submitting to God’s Orchestrations

1. God is the Creator and people are created beings, and so they should submit to God’s orchestrations and obey God’s arrangements—this is the rationality people should have;

2. Man’s destiny is in God’s hands. People cannot master themselves, they should hand everything over to God’s control, and obey God’s orchestrations and arrangements;

3. Have faith that God is righteous, and that to man He is all love and salvation. No matter how much God’s actions are at odds with man’s conceptions, you should always obey till death and not complain;

4. When you encounter trials and refinement, place your life and death in God’s hands, you wish only to be able to bear witness to God and satisfy God, and make no personal decisions or demands.

161. The Principles of Following God’s Will

1. You must recognize that following God’s will is the heaven-sent vocation of created beings, and that it is Heaven’s law and earth’s principle and incumbent upon created beings to carry out God’s will;

2. You must have a God-loving heart, be considerate toward God’s will, do your utmost to exalt God and bear witness to God, and bring people before God;

3. You must perform all the work God commissions in strict accordance with present work arrangements, sermons and fellowships, and fulfill your duty;

4. You must bear the important responsibility of the work of spreading the gospel, take God’s commissions as your own tasks, be faithful only to God, and obey God till death.

162. The Principles of Living by God’s Words

1. You must practice and experience God’s words so as to know God’s words, understand all the truths within God’s words and enter completely into the reality of the truth;

2. You must seek the truth with every problem, use the truth to resolve problems, and allow the truth to become your life’s reality;

3. You must view things according to the truth and practice the truth, so as to handle matters with principle and in conformity with the truth, and become someone with truth and humanity;

4. Practice praying to God, fellowshiping with God and trying to grasp God’s will in all things, so as to conform to God’s will in all things and walk together with God.

Though the principles of practice of the 162 issues above have now been put in order, they can only be said to be mostly accurate. The principles of practice of some of the issues are not yet entirely complete, and some issues may yet have one or two principles added. But the four principles confirmed for every issue are the most fundamental, most important ones. To ensure that practicing the truth is done more comprehensively, God’s chosen people may further add one or two principles of practice to some issues. The main fundamental principles of these 162 issues are now established, and God’s family has now paved the way for practicing the truth. If, in practical experience and entry, God’s chosen people are able to genuinely understand the essence of the truth, then they will be further able to accurately determine the complete principles of practice. In this way, God’s chosen people will thoroughly enter the reality of the truth. Once the principles of practice of these 162 issues have been issued, then church meetings may begin to fellowship related words of God, and fellowship every truth and their four principles of practice so as to understand the truth with clarity and have a path to practice. This can ensure that we perform our duties up to standard, that we live before God and expend for Him normally, that we are devoted to His commissions, that we spread the gospel, bear witness for God and expand Christ’s kingdom, that we carry out God’s will, and it ensures that we perform our duties and serve God in keeping with the principles of the truth, so as to conform to God’s will—this is absolute. When we perform our duties and resolve problems in the future, it will be easy to practice the truth, and we may, according to God’s words, refer directly to the principles of practice of these 162 issues and fellowship the truth. In this way, we will easily understand the truth, have a way forward, and be able to enter the reality of the truth.

If God’s chosen people understand and grasp the principles of practice of these 162 issues, they will achieve great results in the performance of their duties and be able to practice the truth so as to handle matters with principle. This would be a thorough entry into the reality of the truth, and one would certainly be blessed by God. If someone still handles matters in a way that is against the truth and without principle, or if they know the principles but do not abide by them, then this is to knowingly commit offense, and pertains to rejecting the truth and resisting the truth. People like this, therefore, certainly do not love the truth, and will find it very hard to attain salvation. Entry into the reality of the truth is not accomplished just depending on the church life. One must achieve an understanding of the truth and enter into reality in the performance of one’s duty, and gain God’s praise. God’s work has reached the final stage of spreading the gospel of the kingdom. Whether or not someone possesses the reality of the truth depends on whether or not they can practice the truth and be utterly devoted to God in spreading the gospel and bearing witness for God, whether or not they can pursue the truth to know God and attain change in their life disposition, and whether or not they truly obey God and truly love God in their spreading of the gospel of the kingdom, and can bear beautiful and resounding witness. God’s chosen people should all be clear that spreading the gospel of the kingdom is God’s will. Now is the key time when God tests people to see whether or not they can complete the commission of spreading the gospel and bearing witness for God. If people still cannot handle matters with principle in spreading the gospel of the kingdom, if they cannot faithfully fulfill their duty, but are still able to act wantonly and wildly, then this completely exposes them as not possessing a shred of the reality of the truth. People like this are evil-doers, unbelievers, and must inevitably be punished and eliminated.

In this final stage of God’s work, whether or not someone pursues the truth and can attain salvation depends on whether or not they handle matters with principle in spreading the gospel of the kingdom, whether or not they practice the truth, and whether or not they truly obey God. Exactly whether or not someone possesses the reality of the truth, whether they are good or evil, and exactly what path they walk is entirely revealed by these practical issues. Whether or not someone can attain salvation and be perfected in spreading the gospel of the kingdom depends on whether or not they can pay the price in pursuing the truth, and whether or not they can endure great suffering and stand witness in the performance of their duties. This is the key time that will determine people’s fate and destination, and people should all know God’s righteous disposition, for now is the time wherein God’s work is coming to an end and His righteous disposition will be entirely revealed. There will no longer be any mercy from God for those who have never pursued the truth, for God’s disposition is holy and righteous. God detests those who have never pursued the truth and who do not truly repent, and He hates and curses all those who deny the truth, reject the truth and defy Him. “What you should understand is this: The work of God never waits for any that cannot keep pace with Him, and the righteous disposition of God shows no mercy to any man.”
