When I first cared for the new believers, I was very glad and strongly felt it was God’s uplifting. Some time later, I was transferred to a strange place to perform my duty. In the face of various difficulties, my heart was full of complaints; I really wanted to give up my duty, but I dared not. So, I came before God and prayed to him: “O God! In this duty, I do not know how to cooperate with you. Confronted with a variety of difficulties, I always want to draw back. But I believe that what you’ve arranged is good. It is only that I am blind and cannot see through it. May you inspire and enlighten me.” Then, I opened the book of God’s word and read these words: “When some people are asked to coordinate in the service, they are not willing. Such are lazy people who seek after ease. The more you are asked to coordinate in the service, the more experiences you will have. As you have more burdens and experiences, you will have more opportunities to be perfected. So, if you can serve God with a true heart, you will care for God’s burden. In this way, you will have more opportunities to be perfected by God. Now God is perfecting such a group of people.” After reading this passage, I suddenly felt enlightened: God gave me burdens in order to perfect me and make up for my deficiencies. However, I did not understand God’s kind intention. I was afraid of sufferings and difficulties and craved ease, and I thought I had suffered loss. Little did I know that because of this commission and these difficulties, I can have richer experiences. Through caring for God’s burden, I can be perfected by God. Isn’t this God’s love coming upon me? Under the encouragement of God’s words, I no longer was passive or complained. Rather, I came to face this duty with a cooperative heart. With this burden, I often pondered: How can I help the new believers to be up? Which piece of God’s word can be used to solve their notions? Which articles on the testimony about God can be used to strengthen them? When I had burdens, I felt that these difficulties were not so difficult as I had imagined.
One day, God’s family asked me to make a summary as to what notions the new believers had and which words of God were used to resolve them. Then I recollected the notions the new believers had previously raised, and unknowingly I sorted them into more than thirty items. When I looked for the relevant words of God to settle each notion, God’s words arose in my mind, like a film being shown, scene by scene. At that moment, I was extremely excited and couldn’t help offering up my grateful prayer to God: “O God, I thank you very much! It is you who have given me so many truths concerning the vision. Now I have understood that the commission you have given me is really so good and is so beneficial to my life. O God! I will never again complain about the sufferings and difficulties. I am willing to be faithful in the commission given by you. May you add more truths to me. To you be all the glory!” Then I couldn’t help singing the hymn of God’s word: “o truly taste God’s love, you have to go deep into reality, go deep into the actual life, and see that everything God does is love.…”
