There are many things I hope that you can do, but your doings and your entire living cannot completely measure up to my requirements. So I have to tell you my will without preamble. Because your discernment is very poor and your appreciation is also very poor, and you hardly know anything about my disposition and my substance, what I urgently need to tell you now are my disposition and my substance. Regardless of how much you have known about them before or whether you are willing to know about them, I will still tell you about them in detail. When these things are mentioned, none of you is strange to them, but you do not know much about their inner meaning and are not very familiar with it. Many of you know something about it dimly and only have half-understanding of it. In order for you to better practice the truth, that is, better practice my word, you should, I think, first know such things. Otherwise, your belief will still be very vague and very hypocritical and will be full of religious color. If you do not know God’s disposition, you cannot possibly do for God what you should do. If you do not know God’s substance, you cannot possibly have fear and dread toward God, but only casual perfunctoriness and prevarication, and even more, irredeemable blasphemy. Knowing God’s disposition is certainly very important, and knowing God’s substance also cannot be neglected, but no one carefully researches and studies such things. It shows that you also have no regard for the administrative decrees issued by me. If you do not know God’s disposition, then you will easily offend God’s disposition. If you offend God’s disposition, it means that you infuriate God Godself. In that case, the fruit you produce in the end will be offending the administrative decrees. Now you should understand that while you know God’s substance, you can know God’s disposition, and while you know God’s disposition, you will also understand the administrative decrees themselves. Of course, the contents of many administrative decrees involve God’s disposition, but not all God’s disposition is expressed in the administrative decrees. This requires you to further know God’s disposition.
My talk with you here is not a common talk. You need to be serious about it and need even more to ponder my words much. By saying this, I mean that you spend too little effort on my words. With God’s disposition, you are even less willing to ponder over it much, and few spend effort on it. So I say that your belief is a high-sounding saying. Even now, none of you has spent much effort on your most fatal spot. You have really failed my thoughtful intention toward you. No wonder there is no God in your eyes and no truth in your life. How could such a group of people be called saints? It is simply intolerable to Heaven! Since you know so little about that, I have to talk more about it.
God’s disposition is something very abstract to everyone and is something difficult for everyone to accept, because his disposition is different from a man’s character. However, God also has his own pleasure, anger, sorrow, and joy, and his pleasure, anger, sorrow, and joy are also different from man’s. God Godself has what he is and has. All his expression and manifestation represent his own substance and his own identity. What he is and has and his substance and identity here cannot be replaced by those of any man. His disposition includes his love for mankind, his comfort to mankind, his hatred of mankind, and even more his thorough knowledge of mankind. Man’s character includes outgoingness, liveliness, or numbness. God’s disposition is what the ruler of the living beings among all things possesses and is what a Creator possesses. His disposition represents honor, represents power, represents nobleness, represents greatness, and even more represents supremacy. His disposition is a symbol of authority, a symbol of all justice, a symbol of all beauty and good, and even more a symbol of being unable to be overpowered or attacked by any hostile force or darkness and a symbol of being unable to be offended (and of not tolerating being offended) by any created being. His disposition is a symbol of the supreme power. No person or persons can or can possibly disturb his work and his disposition. However, man’s character is just a symbol of being a little higher than animal. Man himself has no authority, has no independence, and has no ability to transcend himself, but only has the substance of being weakly manipulated by any person, matter, or thing. God’s “pleasure” is because of the existence and birth of justice, because of the existence and birth of light, and because of the destruction of darkness and evil; his “pleasure” is because he brings mankind light and because he brings mankind a wonderful life; his “pleasure” is just and is a symbol of the existence of all positive things and even more a symbol of auspiciousness. God’s “anger” is because the existence and disturbance of unjust things are damaging his mankind, because of the existence of evil and darkness, because of the existence of things that banish the truth, and even more because of the existence of things that resist beauty and good; his “anger” is a symbol of all negative things no longer existing and even more a symbol of his being holy. His “sorrow” is because the mankind of whom he has expectations fall into darkness, because the work he does on man cannot measure up to his heart’s desire, and because the mankind he loves cannot all live in the light; he is sorrowful for the innocent mankind, sorrowful for the honest but ignorant people, and sorrowful for the people who are kindhearted but do not have a mind of their own; his “sorrow” is a symbol of his being kindhearted, a symbol of his being merciful, a symbol of beauty, and a symbol of kindness. His “joy” is certainly because he defeats the enemy and gains man’s sincere heart, even more because he banishes and destroys all the hostile forces, and also because mankind have a wonderful and peaceful life; his “joy” is not like man’s gladness but is a savor of reaping good fruits, which is higher than gladness; his “joy” is a symbol of mankind being free of sufferings thereafter and a symbol of mankind entering into the world of light. However, mankind’s pleasure, anger, sorrow, and joy are all for the sake of their own interest, not for the sake of justice, light, or beautiful things, much less for the sake of the gifts of Heaven. Mankind’s pleasure, anger, sorrow, and joy are selfish and are something that exists in the world of darkness, and they are not for the sake of God’s will, much less for the sake of God’s plan. So, man and God can never be mentioned in the same breath. God is forever supreme and forever honorable, and man is forever low and forever worthless. This is because God is forever devoting and expending for mankind, whereas man is forever making demands and exerting efforts for himself; God is forever working hard for mankind’s existence, whereas man never dedicates anything for the sake of justice and light, and even if man exerts effort temporarily, it cannot withstand a single blow, because man’s effort is forever for the sake of himself, not for the sake of others; man is forever selfish, and God is forever selfless; God is the origin of all justice and beauty and good, and man is the inheritor and expresser of all ugliness and evil; God will never change his just and beautiful substance, whereas man may betray justice and turn away from God at any time and in any place.
In every word I speak there is contained God’s disposition. You might investigate it carefully, and then you will surely gain a lot. God’s substance is very hard to fathom, yet as for God’s disposition, I believe that you all might have known something about it! Then I hope that you will do more things of not offending God’s disposition for me to see. In that case my heart will be at rest. For example, you put God in your heart all the time, do things according to his words, and seek his will in everything. Do not do things that disrespect and dishonor God, much less put God behind your mind to fill the future emptiness in your heart. If you do so, you will offend God’s disposition. Again, for example, you never speak words of blaspheming and complaining against God in all your life. Again, for example, in all your life you can do properly the things God commits to you and can obey all God’s words. In that case, you will have achieved not offending the administrative decrees. If you have ever said words like judgments, such as, “Why don’t I think that he is God?”, “I think that these words are nothing but some inspiration of the Holy Spirit,” “I don’t think that everything God does is right,” “God’s humanity is not higher than mine,” “God’s word is simply unbelievable,” and so on, then I advise you to confess and repent much. Otherwise, you will never have the opportunity to be forgiven, because the one you have offended is not a man but God Godself. You think that the one you have judged is a man, but God’s Spirit does not think so. If you do not respect his flesh, it means that you do not respect him. In that case, hasn’t what you have done offended God’s disposition? Remember, everything God’s Spirit does is to uphold his work in the flesh and to accomplish his work in the flesh. If you neglect this, I say that you will be a person who can never succeed in believing in God. Because you provoke God’s anger, he will teach you by a fitting punishment.
Knowing God’s substance is not child’s play. It requires you to know God’s disposition. In this way, unconsciously you will gradually have knowledge of God’s substance. At the same time when you have the knowledge, you will stride toward a higher and more beautiful state. In the end, you will feel ashamed of your ugly soul and even more feel too ashamed to show your face. At that time, your deeds of offending God’s disposition will become fewer and fewer, your heart will become closer and closer to God’s heart, and you will gradually have adoration for God. That will be a symbol of mankind entering into a beautiful state. But now you have not reached it. You all are busy rushing about for the sake of your destiny, so who would have the mind to know God’s substance? If this continues for long, you all will unconsciously do things of offending the administrative decrees, because you know too little about God’s disposition. So isn’t what you are doing now laying a foundation for offending God’s disposition? My requiring you to know God’s disposition is not divorced from my work, because if you often offend the administrative decrees, who of you can escape the punishment? In that case, won’t all my work be futile? So, I require you to guard your steps besides watching your doings. This is my higher requirement for you. I hope that you all will think about it carefully and take it seriously. If one day your doings provoke me to a towering rage, then its consequences will be left only for you to consider, and no one will bear the punishment for you.
