How to Discern People With Normal Humanity and Wicked People

How to Discern and Handle Wicked People

How does one discern whether a person’s humanity is good or bad? How does one distinguish between a good person and a wicked person? A person with normal humanity is a normal person who, regardless of how corrupt they are, still possesses conscience and reason. If a person has conscience and reason, they will feel blame and accused inside when they do something that the devil does or something that violates morality. Therefore, all those with some normal humanity are people who have conscience and reason. Can a person who truly has conscience and reason do something that is extremely immoral? No, they cannot, that’s for sure. But can a person who has conscience and reason have some transgressions? For instance, if a normal person suddenly gets angry and curses at someone, or suddenly gets mad and judges or condemns someone, or twists the facts, or attacks, suppresses, or frames someone, but afterward, they don’t feel right, they feel at fault, remorseful, that what they did lacked morals, was somewhat inappropriate, or too excessive, then they will feel regret in their heart. If a person who genuinely hates sin and negative things does something that does not conform with the truth or is immoral, or something that frames others, would they do it a second or third time? No, they wouldn’t. They would feel that doing so is pointless, that they have harmed people enough, and that taking a little advantage of others is not worth it. Their conscience won’t be at ease. Therefore, if they do something once or twice that is very obviously immoral, harms people, or hurts others to benefit themselves, there’s no way they’ll do it again. After committing a wicked deed or doing something immoral just once, people who have transgressions will be able to acknowledge it, feel remorse, and repent. Does such a person have a normal humanity? It is normal for a corrupt person to have such behaviors. Have people with normal humanity ever committed theft? Have they ever committed adultery? Have they ever judged others? Have they ever done evil? Yes, they have done all of these. But because they have conscience and reason, after they have done a few evil deeds, they will feel loathing and remorse. They will self-reflect and not do it again. This is normal. Is it appropriate to seize on a person’s mistake and define them as hopeless ones or condemn them as a wicked person, an evil spirit or an antichrist if they commit an evil deed, regardless of what kind of evil deed it is? No, it’s not appropriate. This is because everyone has been too deeply corrupted by Satan, and can all do evil and commit sins. They don’t have humanity and can act like livestock sometimes. This is normal for them. But just how does one discern which people have relatively good humanity, which people’s humanity is comparatively evil, and which people have no humanity and are purely devils and demons? This requires a determining principle. A truly wicked person likes evil and it is in their nature to like injustice. Such a person treats evildoing as routine, as a very normal thing, as being a normal person, as necessity of life. It’s as though one must be like that to be human, as though their evildoing is reasonable and ought to be done. Such a person’s nature likes evil and thinks that doing evil is proper and what one should be doing. Would such a person commit a lot of evil deeds? They definitely would. That is why wicked people like injustice and doing evil. This is sufficient to prove that wicked people don’t have conscience or reason. They have no standard of conscience. No matter how great evil a wicked person commits or how many people they frame or harm, they think that it’s a skill, an ability. They think it proves that their methods are superior, that they’ve achieved their goal, and that they’re better than others. That’s why they don’t have remorse, and worse still, don’t loathe themselves. They’re even pleased with themselves, think that they are more capable than others, and look down on others. Such people are wicked people. When they do evil, wicked people don’t have remorse or have a guilty conscience. They just like evil. They think that’s the way humans ought to be, that such behavior is normal, and whoever does not act this way is foolish, ignorant and incapable. The essence of such a person’s nature is that of the devil. That’s just how their nature is. This is the only way to determine whether someone is a wicked person. If, after committing an evil deed, a person still feels blame, remorse, and can hate evil, and still wants to be a good person and not to do evil, then is the essence of their nature that of the devil? That’s the nature of an ordinary corrupt human. The nature of an ordinary corrupt human is such that they sometimes do evil against their own will. What does against their own will mean? Being forced by their environment is one factor. Sometimes, another factor is being compelled by self-interest, or not being able to overcome temptation in special situations. If a person does evil under these several circumstances, but afterward can blame themselves and loathe themselves, and wants to stop walking this path, to become a good person, and to break away from such environments, then they are regarded as an ordinary corrupt human being and not a wicked person. Even though they have some transgressions, the transgressions were committed against their will. They genuinely did not want to do evil. When such people have transgressions, regardless of how many times, we must treat them correctly. We should assist them with love and must not judge, condemn, or define them as hopeless ones. Due to their corrupt disposition, some people who become leaders or workers often prune and deal with people, and always stand in the foreground to show themselves off, but after experiencing the judgment and chastisement of God’s words, fellowshiping about the truth, and seeing the work arrangements of the above, they realize: “Oh, my behavior is a revelation of corruption. It’s wrong for me to always prune and deal with people, put myself in the foreground, control people, and lecture people. This is not doing the work God entrusted me with, nor is it fulfilling my duty. This is purely revealing my corruption, is a disruption and a disturbance. I won’t do this anymore. In the future, I won’t put myself in the foreground, talk letters and doctrines, control people, blindly deal with and prune people, or judge people.” Such a person is not regarded as a false leader or false worker. What is the reason? On the one hand, they can acknowledge their ways and can repent, and on the other hand, the things they did were done in circumstances where they did not understand the truth. Once they understand the truth, they will have knowledge, have remorse, want to repent, and loathe these negative ways of theirs. Such a person, sometimes because they reveal corruption, don’t often get close to God, or don’t pursue the truth, doesn’t clearly have the work of the Holy Spirit. But after being pruned and dealt with, they eat and drink God’s words and understand some truths. They can still act in accordance with the truth and also practice in accordance with the correct understanding and knowledge. Can such a person be salvaged? Yes, such a person can be salvaged, so don’t classify them as a false leader or false worker. We must have discernment and not falsely wrong people. Some people can change and some people can’t change. Once those who can change are fellowshiped about the truth thoroughly or come to a realization through being pruned and dealt with, they will want to change, abandon evil for good, obey the work arrangements of the above, and practice the truth. Such people must be salvaged and not be judged or attacked. But the nature of wicked people is evil, wild, and they especially like to show themselves off and want to attack others. They will severely attack anyone who they don’t get along with or look down upon. They don’t have any love at all. There is no love, patience or tolerance in their nature, only showing themselves off and seeking self-interest. They use anyone around them that they can use, and if they cannot use someone, they will attack, tread on, and reject them. Their principle for associating with others is to use and rope in others to serve them. That’s why, when they are among other people, they always adopt methods that form cliques, comply in appearance but oppose in heart, are double-faced, rope in and use people, and suppress and discriminate them. If one’s policy toward others is always like this for many years, the same as that of the great red dragon, then they are a wicked person. Their behavior is always like this. Even after believing in God for several years, they are still like this and don’t have any change whatsoever. In addition, even after their actions have offended everyone, harmed everyone, and chased everyone away, they still don’t admit their sins and that they were wrong, and continue to maintain their own views, believing that they were practicing the truth. Is such a person someone who pursues the truth? No matter how much evil they have done or how many people they have harmed and suppressed, they never admit their own mistakes or admit that they are a demon or a wicked person, and still feel that they are pretty good. Are these ordinary revelations of corrupt disposition? No, such a person is the devil. They just never admit that they have done evil. Isn’t that the devil? If a corrupt human being with normal humanity commits an evil deed, they will feel embarrassed if others point it out. They will think: “Oh, I did something wrong. Why do I feel so ashamed right now? I don’t dare to show my face. If there was a hole in the ground, I’d bury myself in it.” Does a person who has such feelings count as a wicked person? Not necessarily. We must see if they continue doing evil in the future. If they have such feelings but can still keep doing evil and don’t change at all, then they are a wicked person. After a wicked person does evil, if everyone deals with, denounces, criticizes and rejects them, they might also admit their mistakes in a forced situation: “My humanity is poor. I’ve done wrong to the brothers and sisters. Only now do I know myself. I want to correct myself.” Are they still a wicked person if they can say such words? When forced to, the devil Satan will also say a few words that sound good to people. It knows how to talk like a human being. Satan is deceitful and is apt at using deceit and confusing people. Therefore, don’t believe in nice-sounding words people say. The most important thing is to look at their actions. Do you understand? If later on, they don’t repent and still continue to treat people the same way, this proves that Satan’s evildoing is shameless. If, when everyone rejects them after they do evil, they can also say a few nice-sounding words to deceive people, but afterward, their nature does not change and they can continue to do evil, then this person is undoubtedly a 100% demon. That is how to discern them. …

…………

We have just fellowshiped the problems about how to discern wicked people and how to handle people’s revelations of corruption. You must not treat people with revelations of corruption as wicked people. If they are indeed a wicked person, the way to handle them is different. Hence, the ability of a believer to discern wicked people is very closely related to their practicing of the truth and obedience toward God. Not knowing how to discern wicked people makes it easy for one to be deceived and controlled by wicked people, and makes it easy for them to follow wicked people in doing evil and not enter the right track of belief in God. Accordingly, you must be able to discern wicked people. You must reject them and make a clean break from them. This is imperative. If a person associates themselves with evil people, or join forces with wicked people or even follow them in doing evil, what mistakes will they make? Such a person will also walk the path of wicked people, and will also be despised, eliminated and cursed by God. All those who are in the company of wicked people, follow wicked people in doing evil or are controlled by wicked people are regarded as evil people who defy and betray God. Accordingly, everybody in the church must make a clean break from wicked people and must learn to discern them. No matter who it is, anyone who is kind toward wicked people for any excuse or teams up with wicked people is destined to be despised and cursed by God, because God hates wicked people. All those who follow wicked people, flatter wicked people, protect wicked people, or walk the path of wicked people, will be cursed by God along with wicked people. Therefore, all those who can team up with wicked people are surely not good people. There are some people in the church who will follow good people if the leaders are good people, but will follow wicked people if the leaders are wicked people. Do such people possess the truth? Do they have principles? Do they have a sense of justice? They don’t have the principles of the truth or a sense of justice. They are also not good people. They are not people who pursue and love the truth. Does God like such people? No, God does not. One who can say “no” to wicked people, that is, to Satan, and dare to reject them, abandon them, oppose them, and also dare to uphold the truth and principles is an honest person, a person who pursues the truth, yearns for justice and likes positive things. Can those who can join forces with wicked people hate Satan? Can they forsake the great red dragon? Can they obey God? Thus, all those in the church who follow wicked people, join forces with wicked people, and those who are willing to help and follow wicked people in doing evil are also people who like injustice. They like wicked people, approve of wicked people, follow wicked people. This proves that the essence of their nature is also that of wicked people. What kind of people are those who act as the minions and accomplices of wicked people? They are all wicked people and certainly not good people. That’s how to discern them. How do people with a sense of justice act toward wicked people? They dare to oppose wicked people and say “no” to wicked people. They will say: “I won’t follow you, I won’t obey you, I won’t listen to you. What you say is wrong and does not conform with the truth. I will never listen to you.” Such is a person with a sense of justice. Some people in the church obey whatever wicked people say because they’re afraid not to. They dare to do evil if a wicked person tells them to do evil, and they’re even not afraid to offend God. They appear like a people-pleaser, swaying whichever way the wind blows. What is the essence of the nature of such a person? Definitely not that of a person who loves the truth. Only those in the church who have a sense of justice, who really love the truth, and can adhere to principles are people who genuinely pursue the truth. Therefore, when electing leaders and workers, select those who pursue the truth, and don’t select people-pleasers. Those who sway whichever way the wind blows are not people who pursue the truth. If you really are someone who loves the truth, will you defend a wicked person just because they can give you some benefits? Can you forsake this wicked person to stand on the side of God? Can you still be dictated by emotion? Do you know what being dictated by emotion means? It means that this wicked person once benefited you or helped you with something, or that this wicked person is a family member, or your sister, or your parent or child. What should you do in this situation? Don’t be dictated by emotion. Make a clean break from this wicked person. How do you carry out making a clean break? You say: “If you ask me to do evil again, I don’t do it. I won’t listen to anything you say that is in opposition to the truth, and I will expose you. Whenever you lie, I will expose you. Whenever you have ulterior motives, I will expose you and I won’t listen to you.” A person who says this is someone who pursues the truth. Making a clean break from wicked people, not listening to wicked people and having the courage to reject them—such is a person who genuinely believes in and obeys God, a person who pursues the truth. If you have feelings toward wicked people and you walk whatever path they walk, you are not a person who truly believes in God and pursues the truth. If you follow wicked people in your believing in God, you will do whatever wicked people tell you to do, and do evil whenever wicked people tell you to do. You will always stand on the side of wicked people, always associate with wicked people, and always help wicked people do things. Is this believing in and obeying God? Is this not defying and betraying God? Isn’t this acting as Satan’s minion and being a demon? So what do you do if you encounter a situation where you become very close with a wicked person? Do you believe in God or the wicked person? Just who do you obey? Just whose side are you on? This is a test that reveals who you really follow as a believer, whether your belief in God is true or false, and whether you love the truth or love injustice. In the end, when each person follows their own kind, you will be fully revealed, and by then, your ending will have been determined. Does believing in God require being principled? Believing in God requires being very principled. Apart from being principled, it also requires having a stance. That is, whose side are you standing on? Also especially relevant for believing in God is what path you walk, what kind of people you associate with, who you really obey, and whom you stand with—all of these are matters of principle. Each person must possess these principles and choose their own path. In the end, whether your belief is true or false and who you really believe in will all be revealed. In the end, if who you obey is wicked people, antichrists and false leaders, then God will not acknowledge you, an evildoer. You say you believe in the name of God, but God won’t acknowledge you. God will say: “You didn’t obey Me. You obeyed wicked people and Satan. I don’t acknowledge that you believe in Me.” Then won’t you have believed for nothing? Everyone knows God is righteous. Where does He express His righteousness? He expresses it here. He doesn’t have emotions; He is righteous toward everyone. That is why you must choose. It won’t do if you stand on the wrong side. It won’t do if you follow the wrong people. And even more than that, it won’t do if you don’t possess the truth. How should you treat a relative who is a wicked person? Should you reject and forsake them? Some people say: “I don’t know how to discern them.” You have a muddled faith in God if you don’t know how to discern them. How can you still not know whether they are a wicked person? How do you believe in God if you can’t tell the difference between good and evil? How can you not know whether they are a good or bad person? It is because they are your relative that you say you don’t know how to discern them. Isn’t that lying? You have attended meetings with them for so long and yet you can’t discern them? If someone says, “I don’t know how to discern them. I feel they also truly believe in God and practice the truth. Some of the things they say are also right.” Such words are not factual. They are lies. This is being deceitful. What demon can’t learn to talk like a human being and occasionally say some nice-sounding things when they feel like it? They all can. The key is to see how they do things and treat each person, to see whether they are disturbing and disrupting God’s work or preparing good deeds. When looking at a person, look at how they actually do things. Can you still not discern this?
