1 We have heard the voice of God and returned to God’s house, where we live the life of the church. Shepherded by Christ, each day we eat and drink the words of God and attend the feast of the kingdom of heaven. Practicing and experiencing God’s words, we understand the truth and our souls are set free. Certain that Christ is the truth, our hearts have been conquered, and we resolutely follow God, living in the light. Brothers and sisters, sing together! Sing out loud the love of God in our hearts. God’s expression of the truth brings us the way of eternal life, allowing us to live out a human likeness.

2 God’s words judge and expose man’s corruption, every word is nothing but fact. Arrogant and conceited, we are full of notions about the practical God; blind and foolish, we do not know God. Experiencing trials, our nature becomes clear to us; we repent to God and begin anew. 3 In the face of Satan’s cruel oppression, we do not retreat; God’s words guide us in overcoming tribulations. Understanding the truth, we are discerning and know more clearly what to love and what to hate. We swear on our lives to forsake Satan. Experiencing trials and tribulations, we have a greater love for God in our hearts; we perform our duties properly, and repay God’s love.
