39. Those Who Are Unable to Know Christ as the Truth, the Way and the Life Will Never Enter the Kingdom of Heaven

Whether people gain life through their belief in God depends on whether they obtain the truth. If they do, then they have truly known God; only those who have done so have truly gained the life. Those who do not really know God have not obtained the truth; such people therefore have not acquired the life. This is certain, beyond any doubt. So what exactly does it mean to obtain the truth? This requires having knowledge of Christ, because He is God incarnate among humans, the Expresser of all truth. The truth originates from God’s life, and is entirely an expression of Christ, whose essence is the truth, the way, and the life. Only Christ possesses the essence of truth and life, so knowing Him and gaining Him is the only real way of obtaining the truth. From this it is evident that among the faithful, only those who know Christ and have gained Him have truly acquired life, known God, and reaped eternal life. This exactly fulfills what is written in the Bible: “He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on him” (Jhn 3:36). Believing in the Son undoubtedly refers to following Christ incarnate. Of people who believe in God, only those who recognize Christ to be the truth, the way, and the life can truly know God, be saved, and made perfect; only they will receive God’s praise. Anyone who believes in God yet can still deny, resist, or forsake Christ is a person who has faith but opposes and betrays God. As such, he will not be able to achieve salvation or perfection. If someone believes in God but only blindly worships and witnesses the Bible while resisting or feeling hatred toward Christ, then that person has already set foot upon the path of the antichrist and become an enemy of God. Being an actual antichrist, such a person will be punished and cursed by God, and will end up passing into perdition and ruination. For the faithful, this is the most serious failure and sorrow.

There are many who only believe in a vague God in heaven according to the Bible, but who do not believe God can become flesh, let alone accept Christ to be God incarnate, to be corrupt mankind’s Savior, or to be the practical God who saves humans. Such people do not know that Christ is the truth, the way, and the life; what’s more, they cannot achieve compatibility with Christ. They are certainly the sort of people who grow bored with, and feel hatred toward the truth. We can all read in the Bible that the Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees believed in God their whole lives yet refused to accept the incarnate Jesus, to the point that they could even crucify Jesus Christ to death. As a result, they became people who resisted and betrayed God, and therefore received His punishment and curses. Despite their lifelong faith, they were unable to obtain God’s blessings and promise. How pitiful and sad it was! Thus, whether people succeed in their faith depends on whether they know and have gained Christ. The crux of the matter is whether they have accepted all of the truths expressed by Christ, and obediently experienced all of God’s work; it is whether they can exalt Christ and witness Him until they are compatible with Him. This is the key matter that determines the success or failure of their faith in God. However, many people do not agree with this; they see the Bible as being above all else, and have even used it to supplant God in their hearts. When God incarnate comes to work, these people can actually deny, reject, and oppose Christ. If Christ’s words and actions are not in line with certain rules of the Bible, these people go so far as to condemn, reject, and forsake Him. Rather than believing in God, it would be more accurate to say that they believe in the Bible. In their eyes, the Bible is their Lord, their God. It seems that for them God, the Lord, is in the Bible, and it represents Him. Thus, they believe that the truth is anything that is in complete agreement with the Bible, whereas anything that differs from the Bible cannot be the truth. They see the Bible as being higher than all truth; to stray from the Bible would be to stray from the truth, for only what is written in the Bible is the truth. They think God’s work and utterances are only those listed within its pages; they refuse to acknowledge anything He may have done or said apart from the Bible. Such people are the same as those Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees, who only recognized the Bible, yet did not know God whatsoever; and they were even less willing to admit to the existence of Christ incarnate. They even set the Bible and Christ against each other, absolutely having no knowledge that He is the truth, the way, and the life; instead, they exalted and witnessed the Bible and nailed Christ to the cross, thereby committing the monstrous sin of resisting God. In this way, they might have believed in God, but were not saved; on the contrary, they became God’s enemies, and were destined to receive His punishment and curses. This is the direct consequence of people who believed in God in religion, who were deceived and controlled by the chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees, and set foot upon the path of the antichrist. It shows that what the Lord Jesus said is true: “And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” People like that certainly cannot be saved or perfected.

The Bible contains a word that best represents Christ’s essence. It was what the Lord Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man comes to the Father, but by me” (Jhn 14:6). With these words, the Lord Jesus hit the nail on the head, and revealed the greatest mystery of faith in God—the fact that only by knowing Christ and gaining Christ can people achieve salvation. This is because only when God incarnates Himself as Christ can He thoroughly save mankind. Christ is the only gateway for His sheep to get into the kingdom of heaven, and only Christ incarnate is the practical God that can bring salvation to humans. If they believe in God, then only by accepting and following Christ can they set foot upon the path to salvation and perfection. This is the only way they can become those who do the will of the heavenly Father, and in turn enter the kingdom of heaven. From this, it can be seen that believers in God must accept and obey Christ incarnate before they can be saved and perfected to receive God’s praise. This is the way in which God has predestined people to believe in Him and achieve salvation. Thus, the question of whether people who believe in God know Christ and have gained Christ really is of utmost importance, and has a direct bearing upon their destination and outcome.

When we recall the work the Lord Jesus did when He came to earth to initiate the Age of Grace, we can see that none of the believers in the religion knew or followed Him. This was especially true of the chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees of the Judaism, all of whom refused to recognize or accept Christ. Furthermore, these people denied, judged, and condemned the Lord Jesus according to what was written in the Bible. They even crucified Him, thus committing the hellish sin of resisting God and becoming archetypes of people over the past two thousand years who believe in God yet resist and betray Him, and who therefore have had to suffer God’s punishment and curses. Actually, early on, while preaching, the Lord Jesus had already perceived the actual fact that the religious world was, essentially, resisting against God, and with great accuracy, He directly exposed the root and essence of the Pharisees’ resistance against God: “And you have not his word abiding in you: for whom he has sent, him you believe not. Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And you will not come to me, that you might have life” (Jhn 5:38-40). The Lord Jesus’ words revealed the truth and essence of religious community believing in God yet resisting God. Simultaneously, they shed light on the essence of the relationship between the Bible and Christ. This is undoubtedly an enormous salvation for people who believe in God. However, in today’s religious community, most people still blindly believe, worship, and witness the Bible, placing it on a pedestal above Christ and testimonies of Christ. This is especially true of religious leaders and pastors who, like the Pharisees did, continue to judge, condemn, and blaspheme Christ incarnate in the last days according to the Bible, despite the truth He expresses. Their actions have led to the final tragedy of crucifying Christ a second time, and long ago stirred up God’s fury. The consequence is disastrous, for Almighty God warned early on, “Woe to those who crucify God.” It is therefore completely necessary to establish a clear connection between the Bible and Christ so that everyone can treat the Bible correctly, accept Christ, and obey His work to obtain God’s approval.

God’s Statements and Explanations of the Bible Are Critical for People’s Bible-Reading

With regard to the scriptures, the Lord Jesus once said, “they are they which testify of me.” Here God’s word was spoken with great clarity; the Bible is merely a compilation of testimonies about Him. We all understand that the Bible is a genuine record of the first two stages of God’s work. In other words, it is the testimony of the first two stages of God’s work, which conclude the guidance and redemption of mankind after the creation of the heavens and earth and all things, as well as of mankind. From reading the Bible, everyone can see how God led humans in the Age of Law and taught them to live before Him and worship Him. We can also see how God redeemed mankind in the Age of Grace and forgave them for all their past sins while bestowing upon them peace, joy, and all manner of grace. Not only can people see that God had created mankind, but also that He had constantly guided them and then redeemed them. Meanwhile, God has also provided for and protected mankind. Moreover, we can read from the biblical prophecies that in the last days, God’s words will burn like fire to judge and cleanse His people. They will save mankind from all sins and help us to escape from Satan’s dark influence so that we may completely return to God and ultimately inherit His blessings and promise. This is what God meant when He said, “they are they which testify of me.” Therefore, anyone who has conscientiously read the Bible can see some of God’s actions and recognize His existence and the almightiness and wisdom with which He created, dominates, and controls everything in heaven and on earth. Thus, the Bible is deeply meaningful to people in believing in God, knowing God and setting foot on the path of faith—the proper path of life. Anyone who sincerely believes in God and loves the truth can find a goal and direction in life by reading the Bible, and learn to believe in Him, rely on Him, obey Him, and worship Him. These are all the effects of the Bible’s testimony to God; this is an undeniable fact. However, the Lord Jesus also expounded an even more important point when He said, “Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life,” “And you will not come to me, that you might have life.” These words are so important! Because if people who believe in God wish to obtain the truth and life, merely relying on the testimony of the Bible is not enough; they also must come to Christ to gain the truth and life. This is because only He can express the truth, redeem mankind, and save mankind. God is the One who gives us life. The Bible cannot take the place of His power, let alone the work of the Holy Spirit, and it cannot bestow life upon humans on God’s behalf. Only by accepting and obeying Christ can we obtain the Holy Spirit’s work and gain the truth and life. If people only believe in the Bible without accepting the practical God incarnate, then they will not be able to gain life, because the Bible is not God; it is merely testimony to God’s work. In believing in God, we should comprehend that there are stages to His work of saving mankind; three stages of work are a must to thoroughly save mankind from Satan’s influence, so that they can truly return to God and be gained by Him. Therefore, every stage of God’s work that humans experience brings them part of His salvation. Only by following closely the pace of the Holy Spirit’s work and experiencing God’s judgment and chastisement in the last days can we receive God’s ample and full salvation. For example, in their belief in Jehovah God, the Israelites could only enjoy God’s promise during the Age of Law. If they did not accept Jesus Christ’s salvation, they could not be forgiven of their sins, much less enjoy the peace, joy, and bountiful grace bestowed by God; this is a fact. If people only accept the Lord Jesus’ redemption to be forgiven of their sins, as well as the many graces bestowed by God, yet do not accept His work of judgment and chastisement in the last days, then they cannot obtain truth or life, nor will they be able to achieve a transformation in their life disposition. As such, they will not be qualified to inherit God’s promises and enter the kingdom of heaven. Every stage of God’s work bears its own fruit. God’s work is built upon one stage at a time, and these stages all complement each other; not a single one can be skipped. They gradually lead to perfection. If one were to not accept one of the stages of God’s work, that person could only obtain a portion of His salvation, not all of it. This, too, is a fact. If people only believe in the Bible without accepting Christ in the last days, they will become resisters and betrayers of God. As a result, they will have lost the full complement of God’s final salvation. In other words, people who only believe in the Lord Jesus and do not accept the salvation brought by His return—Almighty God—in the last days, then their faith will be ruined halfway through, and will all come to naught. What a pity that would be! How regretful! Therefore, not accepting Christ incarnate leads to being unable to obtain life. By only believing in the Bible, people cannot be saved or obtain life, and will never be able to know God, because the Bible is not God; it is merely the testimony to Him. Thus, if people only believe in the Bible without accepting Christ, they cannot receive the Holy Spirit’s work. As a result, they cannot be saved by God; they can only be eliminated by Him. This is certain beyond doubt. It is a fact that can be seen by reading the Bible. Moreover, this is also the root cause why the religious leaders and pastors believe in God yet resist God, which leads to failure in their faith. Now, let’s take a look at what Almighty God has said about the Bible, and we’ll be able to understand God’s will:

From the time when there was the Bible, people’s belief in the Lord has been the belief in the Bible. Instead of saying people believe in the Lord, it is better to say they believe in the Bible; rather than saying they have begun reading the Bible, it is better to say they have begun believing in the Bible; and rather than saying they have returned before the Lord, it would be better to say they have returned before the Bible. In this way, people worship the Bible as if it were God, as if it were their lifeblood and losing it would be the same as losing their life. People see the Bible as being as high as God, and there are even those who see it as higher than God. If people are without the work of the Holy Spirit, if they cannot feel God, they can carry on living—but as soon as they lose the Bible, or lose the famous chapters and sayings from the Bible, then it is as if they have lost their life.

Many people believe that understanding and being able to interpret the Bible is the same as finding the true way—but in fact, are things really so simple? No one knows the reality of the Bible: that it is nothing more than a historical record of God’s work, and a testament to the previous two stages of God’s work, and offers you no understanding of the aims of God’s work. Everyone who has read the Bible knows that it documents the two stages of God’s work during the Age of Law and the Age of Grace. The Old Testament chronicles the history of Israel and Jehovah’s work from the time of creation until the end of the Age of Law. The New Testament records Jesus’ work on earth, which is in the Four Gospels, as well as the work of Paul; are they not historical records?

Not everything in the Bible is a record of the words personally spoken by God. The Bible simply documents the previous two stages of God’s work, of which one part is a record of the foretellings of the prophets, and one part is the experiences and knowledge written by people used by God throughout the ages. Human experiences are tainted with human opinions and knowledge, which is unavoidable. In many of the books of the Bible are human conceptions, human biases, and human absurd interpretations. Of course, most of the words are the result of the enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit, and they are correct interpretations—yet it still cannot be said that they are entirely accurate expressions of the truth. Their views on certain things are nothing more than the knowledge of personal experience, or the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit. The foretellings of the prophets were personally instructed by God: The prophecies of Isaiah, Daniel, Ezra, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel came from the direct instruction of the Holy Spirit, these people were seers, they had received the Spirit of prophecy, they were all prophets of the Old Testament. During the Age of Law these people, who had received the inspirations of Jehovah, spoke many prophecies, which were directly instructed by Jehovah.

Today, people believe the Bible is God, and that God is the Bible. So, too, do they believe that all the words of the Bible were the only words God spoke, and that they were all said by God. Those who believe in God even think that although all of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament were written by people, they were all given by inspiration of God, and a record of the utterances of the Holy Spirit. This is the erroneous interpretation of people, and it does not completely accord with the facts. In fact, apart from the books of prophecy, most of the Old Testament is historical record. Some of the epistles of the New Testament come from people’s experiences, and some come from the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit; the Pauline epistles, for example, arose from the work of a man, they were all the result of the Holy Spirit’s enlightenment, and they were written for the churches, were words of exhortation and encouragement for the brothers and sisters of the churches. They were not words spoken by the Holy Spirit—Paul could not speak on behalf of the Holy Spirit, and neither was he a prophet, much less did he see visions. His epistles were written for the churches of Ephesus, Philadelphia, Galatia, and other churches. … If you say that his epistles are the words of the Holy Spirit, then you are absurd, and you are committing blasphemy! The Pauline epistles and the other epistles of the New Testament are equivalent to the memoirs of the more recent spiritual figures. They are on a par with the books of Watchman Nee or the experiences of Lawrence, and so on. It’s simply that the books of recent spiritual figures are not compiled into the New Testament, yet the substance of these people is the same: They were people who were used by the Holy Spirit during a certain period, and they could not directly represent God.

All that is recorded within the Bible is limited and unable to represent all the work of God. The Four Gospels have fewer than one hundred chapters altogether in which are written a finite number of happenings, such as Jesus cursing the fig tree, Peter’s three denials of the Lord, Jesus appearing to the disciples following His crucifixion and resurrection, teaching about fasting, teaching about prayer, teaching about divorce, the birth and genealogy of Jesus, Jesus’ appointment of the disciples, and so forth. These are but a few writings, yet man values them as treasures, even verifying the work of today against them. They even believe that Jesus only did so much in the time after His birth. It is as if they believe God can only do this much, that there can be no further work. Is this not ludicrous?

The passages of God’s words above are Almighty God’s statements and explanations of the Bible, and they fully represent His will. Of course corrupt humanity is unqualified to assess the Bible—only Christ incarnate and the Holy Spirit have the right to do this, because the Bible came about from the appearance and words of Christ, and from the work of the Holy Spirit. It is a true record of God’s work. The Lord Jesus made a final conclusion on the Bible during the Age of Grace, but now that Almighty God has come, He has elaborated on the Bible more clearly. From the words of both the Lord Jesus and Almighty God, we have gained four clear points of understanding of the Bible:

1. The Bible is a record of God’s first two stages of work. It is a testimony to God’s leadership, sustenance, and redemption of mankind after creating the heavens, the earth, all things, and humanity. Thus, the Bible is a testimony to God.

2. Aside from the prophecies, most of the Old Testament is a historical record, while most of the New Testament books are people’s experiences and understanding. Although it includes enlightenment from the Holy Spirit, it is not the utterances of the Spirit, so it cannot be put on par with God’s words.

3. The Bible is merely a record of two stages of God’s work, and does not represent all of His work of saving mankind. The words of God recorded in the Bible are very limited—there are just little hints of God’s life disposition that are revealed, but this cannot represent all of His life disposition.

4. What was recorded in the Bible is limited because God’s work of the last days had not yet been done, and God had yet to utter many words in the last days, and particularly, God was still going to utter more words to lead mankind during the Millennial Kingdom.

We can also determine one critical question regarding the Bible from God’s words—that is, the Bible was edited and compiled by generations of people who served God, and the combination of the Old and New Testament was completed only after the work of redemption in the Age of Grace had been completed. The Old Testament came first, and then there was the New Testament. Throughout the entire process of the collation of the Bible, there was no direction from God because this was a duty done by people in service of God. During the Age of Law, God never issued instructions to edit the Scripture, and during the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus never directed anyone to do so either; nor did the Holy Spirit tell anyone to do this. If they had, it certainly would be written out in the preface to the Bible. Editing the Bible was entirely for the purpose of maintaining God’s work, and of course it was to meet the needs of God’s chosen people. There is nothing wrong with that. Over the last few millennia, the Bible has played an important role for people in the work of seeking the true way, believing in God, and experiencing God’s work. There are just some religious leaders who deliberately misinterpret the Bible to maintain their own status and name. They even use the Bible to condemn and resist Christ, committing the heinous sin of crucifying the Lord Jesus. In particular, they mislead and confuse people, and insist on presenting human words in the Bible as God’s own words. By highlighting the words of man, they dilute the words of God. This is equivalent to covertly replacing the words of God with the words of man. This has led to disorder and has had a negative impact, which is the consequence of taking the many words of people as the words of God. This bitter lesson is something that all believers should be clear on, and should absorb. This is why you must clearly distinguish between the words of God and the words of man when reading the Bible; you must focus on eating and drinking the words of God, and accepting them as your life. You must also be clear on the difference between God’s words and man’s words and treat man’s words properly. Only this kind of practice is beneficial for people’s understanding of God and entry into life.

As for the authors of the Bible and its editing, Almighty God has clearly stated: “In fact, it is merely a human record. It was not personally named by Jehovah, nor did Jehovah personally guide its creation. In other words, the author of this book is not God, but men. The Holy Bible is only the respectful title given to it by man. This title was not decided by Jehovah and Jesus after they had a discussion amongst each other; it is nothing more than a human idea. For this book was not written by Jehovah, much less by Jesus. Instead, it is the accounts of many ancient prophets, apostles, and seers, which were compiled by later generations into a book of ancient writings that, to people, seems especially holy, a book that they believe contains many unfathomable and profound mysteries that are waiting to be unlocked by future generations.” Now we have explicit words from God as a basis, and we now have a clear understanding of the Bible, this mysterious book. The Bible is a record of God’s first two stages of work—it is just a testimony for God, so it cannot be treated as God Himself, and the Bible cannot replace God. It particularly cannot be used to replace God’s words and work in the last days. In people’s belief in God, we must accept His work of the last days, and we must exalt and bear witness to Christ to be in accord with Him. This is the only path through which humans will gain salvation and be perfected. The value of the Bible completely lies in its record of the first two stages of God’s work. If people can read God’s utterances and deeds in it, and can have faith and knowledge of the almightiness and wisdom with which He created and rules over everything, this will have profound significance for people in knowing God, following and worshiping Him. For this reason, the Bible is simply a testimony of God’s work, and can help believers to build a foundation. Of course, it also is a must-read book for everyone who believes in God. The Bible can help people to understand and recognize the first two stages of God’s work to save mankind, and is extremely beneficial to their understanding of the truth and their entry into life. However, it cannot take the place of God’s work in the last days, let alone His present-day utterances; it can only help us to comprehend the first two stages of God’s work and know His disposition and almightiness and wisdom. This is the only way of viewing the Bible that is after God’s heart, and I believe this was the common intention of each of the Bible’s authors and compilers.

We gain clear understanding and sight from Almighty God’s words. With these words of God as a basis, we are fully able to correctly approach and accurately use the Bible. The Bible is nothing more than a record of God’s past work, but it is not a record of God’s work in the last days, so, your faith in God must keep pace with God’s work—you must accept and obey what God says in the last days to be able to gain the work of the Holy Spirit and be perfected. This is a principle that must be adhered to in your faith. When the Lord Jesus did the work of redemption in the Age of Grace, adhering to the laws of the Old Testament no longer had any meaning, and Jesus did not commend that. Now that the Age of Kingdom has arrived, Almighty God has come, and judgment has begun with the house of God, if people continue to linger in the Age of Grace and only uphold the rules and commandments in the Bible from God’s previous two stages of work, there will be no way for them to gain the salvation and perfection of the work of the Holy Spirit. They will certainly be eliminated. If people do not accept God’s judgment and chastisement in the last days, they will be unable to cast off their corrupt disposition and escape from the bonds and strictures of Satan’s dark influence, and they will be particularly unable to achieve a transformation in their life disposition, so then there will be no way for them to gain salvation. So how could they become people who follow God’s will and enter into the kingdom of heaven? Thus, in your faith, you must keep pace with God’s work, and you must know God’s current work and words. This is the only way to gain the salvation and perfection of the Holy Spirit’s work, and the only way to gain God’s acknowledgement and approval. When people follow their own will in their faith, or if they just worship and have blind faith in the Bible while refusing to accept Christ of the last days, they will fall into heterodoxy in their faith. This is taking your own path, and it is taking the antichrist path of the Pharisees. Only this is truly contravening the Bible, and it is also entirely at odds with God’s will. If people continue to stubbornly uphold this kind of erroneous faith to the end, not only is this going against the Bible, but they will end up with destruction and perdition. The facts of the Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees rejecting, hating, and resisting Christ, nailing the Lord Jesus to cross, and thus being cursed and punished by God are recorded in the Bible. This shows that they took the wrong path, and the only outcome for them could be suffering God’s punishment and damnation. What does it really tell mankind that this bitter fact is recorded in the Bible? It is that in your faith, you must accept Christ, and clinging to the Bible is wrong. Those who accept and obey Christ’s work even without reading the Bible can also be saved by God. If you only believe in and uphold the Bible but do not accept Christ, there will be no way for you to achieve salvation from God. This is because the Bible cannot replace God’s appearance and work to save mankind—only God’s own appearance and work can save mankind. If the Bible were able to save man, the Lord Jesus would not have said “I come quickly.” This is a fact. So when people treat the Bible as if it were God, they are committing the sin of delimiting and blaspheming God. Replacing God’s own work with the Bible is denying and betraying God, because God’s words that are recorded in the Bible are very limited. In fact, God’s own words only account for about ten percent of the Bible. Most of the Bible is a documentary of God’s work and testimonials of the disciples’ experiences. Can just 100,000 words or so represent all of God? It can be said that God’s words in the Bible are nothing more than one millionth, one billionth of God’s life. The Bible is nothing more than one drop from the ocean of God’s life. Thus, replacing God with the Bible is truly a desecration of God. This is not remotely an exaggeration.

All Who Blindly Worship and Adore the Bible While Denying Christ Take the Path of Antichrists

The majority of the leaders and pastors in the religious world stubbornly worship and adore the Bible while denying, condemning, and forsaking Christ, leading to a replay of the tragedy of the crucifixion of God incarnate. This is a serious offense to God’s disposition and they will be punished by God. They long ago lost the work of the Holy Spirit, and are just waiting for God’s Judgment Day. There are three main fallacies in the religious world’s use of the Bible to resist God and condemn Christ.

1. The Bible is entirely made up of revelations from God and comes completely from Him, so, all of it is God’s word.

2. There are no other words of God outside of the Bible, so anything that goes against the Bible or exceeds its scope is a heresy, and a fallacy.

3. Only what is in line with the Bible is the true way, so as long as one becomes well versed in and upholds the Bible, they will not become confused and will be saved.

These three major stances in the religious world appear to be correct, but with careful discernment it becomes apparent that there are serious problems within them. There is absolutely no basis for them in God’s words, and they do not come from the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, either. They are entirely human notions and imaginations, so they are all specious fallacies. Now let’s dissect the essence of these three major fallacies.

1. The Bible is entirely made up of revelations from God and comes completely from Him, so, all of it is God’s word.

Because in the epistles Paul once stated that all scripture is given by inspiration of God, afterward, religious circles began to delimit everything written in the Bible as being the inspiration of God, and being God’s words. What Paul said had no basis, because God had never borne witness to the Bible in this way, nor had the Lord Jesus ever said that the Bible was given by God’s inspiration and was entirely the word of God. Paul’s testimony of the Bible was merely based on his individual knowledge of it; he was not at all speaking on God’s behalf. Only the Holy Spirit and God incarnate know the inside story of what the Bible is about, and the humans of creation have not been able to understand it thoroughly. This is fact. The Lord Jesus merely said that the Bible is God’s testimony; He did not say it was all inspired by God and was the word of God. Nor did the Holy Spirit ever bear such testimony of the Bible to anyone. Thus, what Paul said had no foundation. He was not speaking on God’s behalf, let alone for the Holy Spirit. The Bible’s contents are all records of actual events and testimonies of experiences related to the work of God, written down by people who served Him. None of the chapters was written by God Himself; their authors were simply conveying God’s word or describing their own experiences and understanding, enlightened by the Holy Spirit’s illumination, in order to bear witness to God’s name and work. This is fact. Although the apostles’ written accounts and epistles were enlightened by the Holy Spirit, they do not represent the word of God, because the Holy Spirit illuminates, enlightens, and guides each person according to his or her individual condition so that he or she can reach an understanding of the truth and attain knowledge of God. This is the effect of the Holy Spirit’s work. Thus, this enlightenment and illumination brought by the Holy Spirit’s work is not the equivalent of God’s word; the utterances of God represent God’s life disposition and all carry the essence of truth of His life disposition. No sentence spoken by God can ever be completely experienced by humans, because His utterances contain too much essence of truth for us to live out within the limited experience of a single lifetime. Because of this, no matter how much people understand the truth or know God, they will never be able to express His word. Apparently, the Holy Spirit’s enlightenment and illumination merely provides humans with some light and guidance by which to comprehend the truth; regardless of how profound their experiences and testimonies might be, these should not even be mentioned in the same breath with God’s utterances. Because the essence of humans and the essence of God are as different as night and day, humans will never be able to express the word of God; only Christ endowed with the essence of God’s divinity can do it. Prophets can merely relay God’s word; even people who are used by the Holy Spirit can only speak of their own experiences and what they themselves have witnessed. Humans can only express according to their own essence; their living out, in turn, determines their testimonies. God possesses the essence of divinity, so He naturally expresses the word of God; we humans have our essence of humanity, so what we express is naturally based on our experiences and what we have witnessed. This being the case, besides the parts conveyed by humans which are God’s words, the rest are undoubtedly accounts of human experiences and understanding. Even if these might be in line with the truth, they absolutely cannot be compared to the word of God, for the essence of humanity is a far cry from the essence of God. Therefore, while reading the Bible, we should make a clear distinction between the parts that contain God’s word and those spoken by humans. Only in this way can we treat the Bible responsibly and in a manner that conforms to God’s will. Furthermore, when the religious community claims that everything written in the Bible is God’s word, this does not accord with the historical facts of the time. For example, in the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus has never borne witness to say that the letters and testimony written by the apostles are the inspiration of God. Moreover, the apostles themselves never said that what they wrote came from God’s inspiration, either; nor would they have dared to claim that it was God’s actual word. The epistles sent to the churches at the time were all seen to be letters written by the apostolic brothers; no one at all said that they were God’s word inspired by God. This was the truth back then. Is it no longer the truth today? Now, in the last days, people who insist that the epistles are the word of God are going against the historical facts! In the Age of Law, God’s servants and prophets did not say that their words were God’s inspirations, either, nor that they were the word of God. As for the books they wrote, the Israelites of the time would certainly have seen them as having been written by God’s servants or prophets. Aside from those words of God they conveyed, the rest could be categorized as records of God’s work. If the Israelites never testified that the books written by these servants and prophets were all God’s inspirations and utterances, then how can humans living two thousand years later go against the historical facts of that time? How can people blatantly insist that the words of the Bible written by humans are actually the word of God? This is not in accordance with the historical facts! The superstition and idolatry with which people in the last days view the Bible are conjured entirely from human conceptions and imagination; they have absolutely no basis in God’s word. This practice among the religious community of blindly following the Bible is misleading, and goes against God. This is how the force of the antichrist misleads people and bewilders them into superstition and false worship of the Bible. This has already caused a multitude of sects to form, plunging church life and people’s life entry into chaos and causing many negative effects. On this point, people should all reflect upon themselves, recognize what is happening, and seek the truth in order to solve this problem and avoid straying from the right path.

2. There are no other words of God outside of the Bible, so anything that goes against the Bible or exceeds its scope is a heresy, and a fallacy.

This kind of viewpoint from the religious community is not based in God’s word; it came about entirely as a result of a misinterpretation of the Bible. The Bible bears witness to the first two stages of God’s work; this is true. However, what is recorded in the Bible is limited, and in that it does not include all of the words God spoke in the two stages of His work and all of the testimony regarding that work. Due to omissions and disputes among the Bible compilers, some of the prophets’ predictions, apostles’ experiences, and their testimonies were left out; this is a recognized fact. How, then, can it be said that apart from the Bible, there are no other records or testimonies concerning God’s work? Were those missing prophecies and epistles all mixed with human will? The Lord Jesus did not just say the words recorded in the New Testament; some of His utterances and work were not written there. Does this mean that they therefore should not be recorded in the Bible? The Bible was not compiled under the direction of God Himself, but jointly by many people in His service. Inevitably, disagreements and omissions would have occurred, or some problems would have come up. Moreover, people in modern times have varying interpretations and viewpoints of the Bible. People must respect the truth, though, so it cannot be said that God’s utterances and work do not exist outside the Bible; this would not be in keeping with the facts. Originally, the Bible consisted only of the Old Testament. Nothing the Lord Jesus said while doing His work of redemption can be found in the Old Testament; as such, were the Lord Jesus’ expressions and redemptive work in the then Bible, or outside of it? People do not understand the actual facts, and have absolutely no idea that every time God finished a stage of His work, only then would those facts come into being and be written down in the Bible. To argue that there is no record outside of the Bible of God’s utterances and work is somewhat subjective and absurd! Both the Old Testament and the New Testament were each produced after God had completed a stage of His work, but after the emergence of the Bible, no one knows what else God will do or say; this is fact. Humans simply are not qualified to delimit the Bible like this, or delimit God based on what is written therein. On this point, we have all clearly seen how genuinely arrogant, and therefore irrational, corrupted humanity has become; when confronted with the truth, they even dare to recklessly draw conclusions. Is this not a repeat of the mistake made by Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees when they used the Bible to resist God? Thus, we cannot believe in God, follow Him, or observe and study the true way entirely based upon the Bible, for it can only be used as a reference. Most importantly, we must base our determination on whether or not there is the work of the Holy Spirit and whether or not there is the truth; only then will this foundation be accurate; only then can we make the right choice. Therefore, such assertions as “Anything that goes against or exceeds the Bible is a heresy and a fallacy,” really are inappropriate. In the Age of Grace, Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees condemned the Lord Jesus according to the Bible and nailed Him to the cross—an act which offended God’s disposition and caused them to be punished and cursed. All of this was the consequence of blindly believing in and worshiping the Bible, and rejecting Christ. Might I ask, did the Lord Jesus’ work of redemption conform to the Bible or not? Two thousand years after the Lord Jesus finished His redemptive work, Almighty God has come to do the work of judgment in the last days; is this in line with the contents of the New Testament? Religious circles always use the Bible to delimit God’s work; this is just so ridiculous and absurd! Superficially, they seem to respect the Bible, but all they actually are doing is trying to protect their status and domination. They are not genuinely seeking the truth; the path they are walking is actually that of the antichrist. From this it is evident that using the Bible as a basis for judging the true way and researching the work of God is erroneous; the only way to be accurate is to base our determination of what is or isn’t the true way, or God’s work, on whether or not the work of the Holy Spirit and the truth exist. Thus, it is wrong to say that apart from the Bible there are no other utterances or work of God; such claim truly is a fallacy.

3. Only what is in line with the Bible is the true way, so as long as one becomes well versed in and upholds the Bible, they will not become confused and will be saved.

“Only what is in line with the Bible is the true way”: It doesn’t sound like there’s anything wrong with these words, but in fact, they are not at all tenable. This is because no one truly understands the Bible; only those who truly know God can understand the Bible, fathom God’s will through the Bible, and use the Bible correctly to fulfill their duty and bear witness to God. It is only antichrists who pick and choose from the Bible and misinterpret it, and use it to condemn and resist God incarnate. Could it be that the leaders, pastors, and Pharisees in religious circles during Jesus’ time actually understood the Bible? They certainly did not. All they understood was some knowledge of literal doctrines from the Bible, and they could only uphold some of its rules. They did not understand God at all and never put the truth into practice. This is why, when the Lord Jesus came to do the work of redemption, they could only resist, refuse, and condemn Him, and even crucify Him. This shows that just because someone believes that they understand, that they know the Bible, it does not mean that they understand the truth or know God. Only those who truly know God can truly understand the Bible. This is a fact. Many leaders and pastors in the religious world often teach people: “As long as you know the Bible well, you cannot be confused, and you will be saved.” This is a pure fallacy. Without pursuing the truth in your faith, you cannot gain the work of the Holy Spirit, and then there will be no way to gain salvation. The only critical thing is obtaining the work of the Holy Spirit in your faith; if you just read and reread the Bible without seeking the truth, you will be unable to gain the Holy Spirit’s enlightenment and illumination, so how could you understand the truth and enter into reality? No matter how familiar someone is with the Bible, without seeking the truth or fathoming God’s will, it will be very difficult to gain the Holy Spirit’s work. Relying on this can only bring understanding of knowledge, doctrines, and rules of the Bible—it absolutely cannot bring an understanding of the truth, and it particularly cannot achieve knowledge of God. This is a fact. Just understanding a lot of Bible knowledge and being able to discuss many theories of theology is not the same as understanding the truth, and it particularly is not the same as knowing God. That’s why that kind of person is most prone to resisting God and becoming an antichrist—it’s because corrupt humanity inherently possesses a satanic nature, and is all arrogant, self-important, and very self-righteous. People don’t give in to anyone in their hearts. The more Bible knowledge someone understands, don’t they just become more arrogant, and more apt to lose sight of God? Bible knowledge just makes people arrogant. It does not make people revere God or know God. No matter how much they understand, they do not develop a heart of reverence for God, and it does not mean that they know God. This is an irrefutable fact. We can see that the Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees were all scholars and experts on the Scripture, but they all looked down on the Lord Jesus and didn’t have a shred of reverence for God. This is how they were capable of committing the heinous sin of crucifying the Lord Jesus, and suffered God’s punishment and damnation. This shows that researchers of the Bible are not necessarily people who pursue the truth. Only those who gain the work of the Holy Spirit are able to develop a heart of reverence for God, and only by undergoing a great deal of God’s judgment and chastisement and discipline from the Holy Spirit can people truly fear and obey God. This is absolutely true. Those who focus on researching theology and pursuing knowledge of the Bible within a religion are, for the most part, doing it for their status and their living. They do not have hearts of reverence for God. For some people, it’s not even certain whether or not they even acknowledge the existence of God, much less acknowledge Christ incarnate. Those people are nonbelievers in essence, and the moment they gain some status they become antichrists and bitter enemies of God. Their relationship to Christ is that of an antagonist, of an enemy. This fact is something that God’s chosen people must see clearly, lest you become subject to the antichrists’ confusion and control, and become a victim, a sacrificial lamb of the satanic antichrist forces. The Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees were the classic representatives of people who believed in God but resisted Him. So if they truly understood the Bible, how could they resist God? Only those who understand literal doctrines and rigidly apply the rules are able to resist God; only those who possess Bible knowledge but do not understand the truth of the Bible are likely to resist God; only those antichrist forces who hate the truth will intentionally exploit the Bible to resist God. This is a fact that cannot be denied. So the idea that one should become well versed in and uphold the Bible to avoid becoming confused and be saved is a specious fallacy. If you want to gain salvation in your faith, obtaining the work of the Holy Spirit is most critical. Only dauntlessly pursuing the truth is the fundamental guarantee of being saved.

We can see from the fellowship above that the religious world’s three main stances on the Bible are specious fallacies. Of course, these three fallacies gradually came about after the collation of the Old and New Testaments. Over the last thousand years or so, the leaders and pastors in religious circles have instructed all believers in this fashion, causing people to blindly worship and adore the Bible more and more. It has ended up causing people to just believe in and uphold the Bible without actually knowing God, and even when they discover that everything Christ has said is the truth, they still don’t dare to depart from the Bible or turn their backs on religion. The religious world uses these three specious fallacies to confuse, ensnare, and control people. This entrenches the leaders’ and pastors’ “sacred” status and gradually erodes God’s place in people’s hearts, while the Bible gains more and more of a foothold in their hearts. This is how people’s fellowship with God gradually shrinks, and instead, they seek answers for all things from within the Bible instead of seeking the truth in God’s word to resolve their problems. Then the Bible gradually becomes their Lord, their God, and not only do they not seek out God and become unable to truly obey and fear God, but they become believers in the Bible, and in a vague God in heaven. This is how Christ naturally became the target of condemnation, resistance, and rejection by the religious world when He appeared to work. From this, it is clear that the resistance to God in religious circles is entirely the consequence of the leaders and pastors worshiping and adoring the Bible, but not exalting God or bearing witness to Him. Their three great fallacies of worship and adoration of the Bible have brought great harm and calamity to people’s belief in God. No one can deny this fact.

Using the Bible to Delimit and Resist God Comes Entirely from Satan’s Trickery

The religious world’s blind faith in and adoration of the Bible, and even its use of the Bible to delimit and resist God not only originates from human notions and imaginations, but even more, it comes from people’s satanic natures. It cannot be denied that it also comes from the trickery of Satan, because this directly involves the battle of the spiritual world. Just as God’s words say: “In My plan, Satan has ever snapped at the heels of every step, and, as the foil of My wisdom, has always tried to find ways and means to disrupt My original plan.” Ever since God created man Satan has been unceasingly corrupting man, attempting to gradually swallow up mankind, with the goal of exterminating all people. God began His six-thousand-year management plan in order to save mankind. God first did the work of the Age of Law, which was the work of leading people in their lives as well as teaching them how to live in front of God and worship Him. This paved the way for the next stage of work: redemption. After the Lord Jesus had completed the work of redemption, in the last days God has become flesh once again and does the work of judgment and chastisement to thoroughly save mankind, thus bringing an end to Satan’s fate. However, Satan is unwilling to be defeated, so it disrupts and sabotages every step of God’s work of saving mankind with all its might and uses all sorts of satanic trickery to confuse and mislead God’s chosen people, doing its utmost to block people from turning toward God and obeying Him. After God had completed the work of the Age of Law and the Age of Grace the complete Bible, the Old and New Testaments, was developed, and Satan’s antichrist forces began to make a fanfare of the Bible for their own ends. In order to solidify their own status and power, they attempted to mislead God’s chosen people to blindly worship and adore the Bible in place of believing in and obeying God. They also instructed God’s chosen people to approach God and His work based on the Bible in order to achieve their goals of replacing God with the Bible, and having it take God’s place in people’s hearts. This trick of Satan’s is really very sinister, very vicious! Antichrists are the accomplices of Satan, they are its minions, and even more they are the ringleaders in confusing, binding, entrapping God’s chosen people, and ruining their lives. This is how the tragedy came about of the Jewish religious world only believing in the Bible while rejecting Christ and nailing the Lord Jesus to the cross. This was the outcome of Satan’s mad resistance to God’s work, and it was the tragic consequence of the antichrist forces condemning and resisting Christ, and being His enemies. Thus, God’s chosen people must all absorb these lessons and absolutely cannot blindly worship and adore the Bible, and particularly not the leaders and pastors in religious circles. Neither can they be subject to their many specious fallacies and their misguidance. They should accept and obey Christ—this is the only way to break through and strike back at Satan’s tricks, and achieve salvation by God. The fact that corrupt humans believe in God yet resist Him, and that they are able to treat the Bible as God Himself and refuse to accept Christ or God’s work in the last days is adequate proof that although they have undergone God’s work of redemption from the Age of Grace and have enjoyed a great deal of grace from God, they are still very far from gaining God’s salvation. They are still living in sin and are subject to the strictures of their satanic natures; they frequently resist and rebel against God without knowing it, and they even deny, condemn, and reject Christ while believing themselves to be faithful to God and bearing witness for Him. The facts fully show that no matter how much knowledge of the Bible a person possesses, if they are still capable of resisting and condemning Christ, and can still be subject to the confusion, control, and exploitation of antichrists and false shepherds, then that kind of person does not possess a shred of the truth. They are truly blind, poor, pathetic, and naked. Bible knowledge and literal doctrines cannot save anyone. It is clear that when believing in God within the religious world, it is all too easy to fall prey to the confusion and control of antichrist forces, to constantly engage in jealousy and controversy, in intrigue, and to struggle for status and personal benefit. The religious arena, devoid of the work of the Holy Spirit and the power of the truth, is so dark, and so dangerous. Only by accepting God’s work of the last days can one live a true life of the church, and only then can one properly eat and drink God’s words, as well as be able to enjoy God’s love and His guidance. Only then can one enjoy true peace and joy—only this is genuine happiness. This shows that for corrupt humanity, merely gaining God’s redemption and grace is not nearly enough to achieve salvation, and it does not mean one has truly cast off the dark forces of Satan. One can still be subject to the confusion, control, and exploitation of antichrists and false shepherds, and is very much in need of God’s salvation of the last days. Without gaining God’s salvation, people absolutely do not possess the truth and do not have any true understanding of God. They can’t even make heads or tails of the origin of the Bible, and what within it is God’s word, and what is man’s. How could they claim to know God? We may as well raise the following three questions; many people have a hard time seeing these things clearly and will certainly feel that they are difficult to answer.

1. Which really came first—God, or the Bible? Did the Bible come from God’s work, or did God’s work come from the Bible?

2. Is the Bible the essence of God’s own life, or is it an expression of His life? Can the Bible govern God? Can God be constrained by the Bible?

3. Is God greater, or is the Bible greater? Can the Bible take God’s place? Can the Bible replace the work of the Holy Spirit?

Many people have no discernment on these three questions—is it possible that this doesn’t prove that people do not possess a shred of the truth, and do not know God? It is clear that just understanding Bible knowledge cannot resolve any problems. Almighty God long ago exposed the nature and essence of corrupt humanity as well as their mistaken ways of believing in God. Let’s take a look at what Almighty God has said:

Bringing up the things of the past today makes them history, and no matter how true or real they might be, they are still history—and history cannot address the present. For God does not look back on history! And so, if you only understand the Bible, and understand nothing of the work God intends to do today, and if you believe in God but do not seek the work of the Holy Spirit, then you do not understand what it means to seek God. If you read the Bible in order to study the history of Israel, to research the history of God’s creation of all the heavens and earth, then you do not believe in God. But today, since you believe in God, and pursue life, since you pursue the knowledge of God, and do not pursue dead letters and doctrines, or an understanding of history, you must seek God’s will of today, and must look for the direction of the Holy Spirit’s work. If you were an archeologist you could read the Bible—but you are not, you are one of those who believe in God, and you’d best seek God’s will of today.

Those who only care about the words of the Bible, who are unconcerned about the truth or seeking My footsteps—they are against Me, for they limit Me according to the Bible, and constrain Me within the Bible, and so are blasphemous in the extreme toward Me. How could such people come before Me? They pay no heed to My deeds, or My will, or the truth, but instead obsess over words, words that kill. How could such people be compatible with Me?

What you ought to do is acceptance of, without the need for further substantiation from the Bible, any work so long as it is that of the Holy Spirit, for you believe in God to follow God, not to investigate Him. You should not search out further proof for Me to show that I am your God. Rather, you ought to discern whether I am of benefit to you; that is the key. Even if you have found out much irrefutable proof within the Bible, it cannot bring you fully before Me. You are one who lives within the confines of the Bible, and not before Me; the Bible cannot help you know Me, nor can it deepen your love for Me. … The work of God in each age has clear boundaries; He does only the work of the current age and never does He carry out the next stage of work in advance. Only in this way can His representative work of each age be brought to the fore. Jesus had spoken only of the signs of the last days, of how to be patient and how to be saved, how to repent and confess, as well as how to bear the cross and endure suffering; never did He speak of what man in the last days should enter into or how to seek to satisfy God’s will. As such, would it not be an act of fallacy to search within the Bible for God’s work of the last days? What can you discern merely holding the Bible in your hands? Be it an interpreter of the Bible or a preacher, who can foreknow the work of today?

Since there is a higher way, why study that low, outdated way? Since there are newer utterances, and newer work, why live amid old historical records? The new utterances can provide for you, which proves that this is the new work; the old records can’t sate you, or satisfy your current needs, which proves that they are history, and not the work of the here and now. The highest way is the newest work, and with the new work, no matter how high the way of the past, it is still the history of people’s reflections, and no matter its value as reference, it is still the old way. Even though it is recorded in the ‘holy book,’ the old way is history; even though there is no record of it in the ‘holy book,’ the new way is of the here and now. This way can save you, and this way can change you, for this is the work of the Holy Spirit.

I have done much work among man, and the words I have expressed during this time have been many. These words are for the sake of man’s salvation, and were expressed so that man might become compatible with Me. Yet I have gained only a few people on earth who are compatible with Me, and so I say that man does not treasure My words, for man is not compatible with Me. In this way, the work I do is not merely so that man can worship Me; more importantly, it is so that man can be compatible with Me. People, who have been corrupted, all live in Satan’s trap, they live in the flesh, live in selfish desires, and there is not a single one among them who is compatible with Me. There are those who say that they are compatible with Me, but who all worship vague idols. Although they acknowledge My name as holy, they tread a path that runs contrary to Me, and their words are full of arrogance and self-confidence, because, at root, they are all against Me, and incompatible with Me. Every day they seek traces of Me in the Bible, and find ‘suitable’ passages at random that they read endlessly, and which they recite as scriptures. They do not know how to be compatible with Me, do not know what it means to be in enmity of Me, and merely read scriptures blindly. They constrain within the Bible a vague God that they have never seen, and are incapable of seeing, and take it out to look at during their spare time. They believe in My existence only within the scope of the Bible. For them, I am the same as the Bible; without the Bible there is no Me, and without Me there is no Bible. They pay no heed to My existence or actions, but instead devote extreme and special attention to each and every word of Scripture, and many of them even believe that I should not do anything I wish to do unless it is foretold by Scripture. They attach too much importance to Scripture. It can be said that they see words and expressions as too important, to the extent that they use verses from the Bible to measure every word I say, and to condemn Me. What they seek is not the way of compatibility with Me, or the way of compatibility with the truth, but the way of compatibility with the words of the Bible, and they believe that anything that does not conform to the Bible is, without exception, not My work. Are such people not the dutiful descendants of the Pharisees? The Jewish Pharisees used the law of Moses to condemn Jesus. They did not seek compatibility with the Jesus of that time, but diligently followed the law to the letter, to the extent that they ultimately nailed the innocent Jesus to the cross, having charged Him with not following the law of the Old Testament and not being the Messiah. What was their essence? Was it not that they didn’t seek the way of compatibility with the truth? They obsessed over each and every word of the Scripture, while paying no heed to My will and the steps and methods of My work. They were not people who sought the truth, but people who rigidly followed the words of Scripture; they were not people who believed in God, but people who believed in the Bible. Essentially, they were watchdogs of the Bible. In order to safeguard the interests of the Bible, and uphold the dignity of the Bible, and protect the reputation of the Bible, they went so far as to nail the merciful Jesus onto the cross. This they did merely for the sake of defending the Bible, and for the sake of maintaining the status of each and every word of the Bible in people’s hearts. So they preferred to forsake their future and the sin offering to condemn Jesus, who did not conform to the doctrine of Scripture, to death. Were they not lackeys to each and every word of Scripture?

And what of people today? Christ has come to release the truth, yet they would rather expel Him from among man in order to gain entry into heaven and receive grace. They would rather completely deny the coming of the truth in order to safeguard the interests of the Bible, and would rather nail the Christ returning to flesh to the cross again in order to ensure the everlasting existence of the Bible. How can man receive My salvation, when his heart is so malicious, and his nature so antagonistic toward Me? I live among man, yet man does not know of My existence. When I shine My light upon man, he still remains ignorant of My existence. When I unleash My wrath upon man, he denies My existence with even greater vigor. Man searches for compatibility with words, with the Bible, yet not a single person comes before Me to seek the way of compatibility with the truth. Man looks up to Me in heaven, and devotes particular concern to My existence in heaven, yet no one cares about Me in the flesh, for I who live among man am simply too insignificant. Those who only seek compatibility with the words of the Bible, and who only seek compatibility with a vague God, are a wretched sight to Me. That is because what they worship are dead words, and a God that is capable of giving them untold treasures. What they worship is a God that lays himself at the mercy of man, and which doesn’t exist. What, then, can such people gain from Me? Man is simply too lowly for words. Those who are against Me, who make limitless demands of Me, who have no love of the truth, who are rebellious toward Me—how could they be compatible with Me?

We can gain a clear understanding of the Bible based on God’s revelation and judgment above, as well as genuine discernment regarding the many specious, incorrect notions that have been consistently taught by the religious world’s antichrist forces for so long, such as “everything must be based on the Bible,” “the Bible takes precedence,” and “strictly adhere to the Bible to be saved.” We can also clearly see that the antichrist forces in religious circles who use the Bible to resist God and to take God’s places are Satan’s running dogs, and they completely act as Satan’s tools to corrupt, confuse, entrap, and swallow up humanity. From all of this we can also come to know the true essence of the religious world resisting God while also serving Him. They refuse to admit that God has become flesh and vociferously deny, resist, condemn, and reject Christ. This is the source of countless evils and the root of so many misfortunes. The religious antichrist forces even restrict people and do not allow discussion of God’s three stages of work, or to talk about God’s return, that He has become flesh; they do not allow people to bear witness to Christ or to accept Him. Instead, they only let people read the Bible over and over, to rigidly uphold the Bible. This reveals the truth of their resistance to God. This is why people must be able to see through the four critical issues below in order to be able to gain the work of the Holy Spirit and enter into the right track of belief in God.

1. Blindly worshiping and adoring the Bible is putting the cart before the horse. It is entirely Satan’s trickery and the goal is using the Bible to take God’s place.

2. Treating the Bible as God Himself is blasphemy of God, and it is nothing less than worshiping a false idol and resisting God.

3. Christ is He who utters the words of God; He is the Lord and the source of the Bible, and only exalting and bearing witness to Christ is in accord with God’s will.

4. Blindly worshiping and adoring the Bible while rejecting Christ is the action of a nonbeliever; denying and hating Christ is hating the truth and betraying God.

If we can earnestly and carefully read Almighty God’s words we will be able to clearly see that the four issues above are all practical issues that must be resolved in one’s faith in God. As long as we can see through the essence of these, it will become easy to accept and obey Christ, and then if we are further able to fully pursue the truth, we will certainly be able to know that Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. Our hearts will be clear on which is actually important, which can save mankind, and which really expresses the truth: Christ, or the Bible. None of the truths expressed by Christ of the last days are in the Bible—the words of God recorded in the Bible are very limited, while the words uttered by Christ of the last days are boundless. There are about 100,000 actual words of God documented in the Chinese-language Bible at most, while the words expressed by Christ of the last days number in the millions, in the tens of millions. This is a fact. We all clearly know that not too many of the words uttered by the Lord Jesus during the Age of Grace were recorded in the Bible, because one of Jesus’ disciples said: “And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written” (Jhn 21:25). This is proof that what is recorded in the Bible is very limited and that the Bible absolutely cannot compare with God Himself. What was recorded in the Bible was a finite amount of God’s words, while God’s utterances are the waters of life that never cease to flow, and they are vast oceans that cannot be quantified. This is a fact that no one can deny. Why say that one cannot be saved by believing in the Bible? It is because mankind is too deeply corrupted and their hearts are full of arrogance and ambitious desires; what they express and live out is all a satanic disposition. They lack much of a true human likeness. It is not an exaggeration to say that they are so corrupt that they are all living demons. If such corrupt humans do not undergo the judgment and chastisement of God in the last days, how can they gain purification and transformation? Christ of the last days, Almighty God, came to purify and transform mankind through judgment and chastisement and to fully save mankind so that they can cast off Satan’s dark influence and live in front of God. So if people blindly worship and cling to the Bible while refusing to accept the judgment and chastisement of God incarnate, they will certainly cannot gain salvation. This is absolutely true, and it fully represents the will of God. Even more, it is God’s requirement of man. If people continue to adulate and adore the Bible, then that really is a bit foolish and ignorant. It really is short-sighted. What corrupt mankind most needs is God’s judgment, chastisement, pruning, and dealing with, as well as trials and refinement. What they most need is the salvation of the practical God Himself in the flesh who is both real and alive, while the Bible is nothing more than a book that is a testimony to God’s past work. That book does not contain God’s words of judgment and chastisement in the last days, so how can it replace His work of the last days? Can the Bible provide face-to-face judgment and chastisement of corrupt people? Can the Bible directly prune and deal with people’s corrupt dispositions? Can the Bible make direct use of God’s words to test and refine people? Very clearly, the Bible cannot do these things, so why do people continue to uphold the Bible and refuse to accept God’s work of the last days? Isn’t this ignorant, absurd, and foolish to an extreme? All those who undergo God’s work of the last days truly have their eyes opened and can really feast their eyes after they see all the truths expressed by God. They see that with each step, God’s work becomes more elevated, and that the truths He expresses become deeper. It truly is Christ of the last days who has opened the scrolls, who has expressed all the truths that corrupt mankind needs to gain salvation, and who has revealed all the mysteries of God’s management plan. These are all things that God never said during the Age of Law or the Age of Grace, and they fully fulfill these words of the Lord Jesus: “However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come” (Jhn 16:13). Here, “the Spirit of truth” is the appearance and work of Christ of the last days. This has been completely fulfilled. God’s chosen people who have accepted God’s work of the last days have seen God in the flesh, and they have seen the mysteries of the Word appearing in the flesh. They have seen that only this is God in heaven donning the flesh to come to earth and do the work of the last days of saving and guiding mankind. With this practical God saving and guiding us, of course we are far better off than staying in the churches clutching our books and clinging to the Bible. This is because faith within a church relies on what is gained from reading the Bible, which is just rigid words, and not the truth, or life. Corrupt humanity has believed in God for 2,000 years without achieving true understanding of Him, and they particularly have not had a transformation in their life dispositions. Very few people have gained God’s approval. On the contrary, when Christ of the last days appeared and began working, many leaders and pastors in religious circles became the ringleaders in denying, condemning, and resisting Christ. There are also many religious extremists who have become the vanguards of resistance to God. They are all authentic evil servants and antichrists. These people have been completely exposed because of the appearance of Christ of the last days and all of the truths that He has revealed. It is clear from this that by only relying on the Bible in your faith, you cannot gain the truth or life. In particular, when believing in God within a church and always being subject to the confusion, disruption, and control of evil antichrist forces and nonbelievers, you cannot freely seek the truth and enter into reality, and you will be unable to cast off the dark influence of Satan and the antichrist forces as well as the strictures of your corrupt flesh. You will certainly be unable to achieve salvation. This is a fact. As long as people accept Christ of the last days, they will be able to see through the darkness and evil of this world, and only then will they be able to clearly see the religious world’s essence of resistance to God and the true face of the antichrist devils. Only following Christ and obeying His work will allow you to gain the truth and life. Only then will you be able to cast off the influence of Satan and truly turn toward God, and freely follow, obey, exalt, and bear witness to God, and live out a true human life. This is the true experience and testimony of all those who have undergone God’s work of the last days.

How should one really understand Almighty God’s work of the last days? First, it is necessary to understand the true way brought by Christ of the last days. As Almighty God said: “Christ of the last days brings life, and brings the enduring and everlasting way of truth. This truth is the path through which man shall gain life, and the only path by which man shall know God and be approved by God. If you do not seek the way of life provided by Christ of the last days, then you shall never gain the approval of Jesus, and shall never be qualified to enter the gate of the kingdom of heaven, for you are both a puppet and prisoner of history. Those who are controlled by regulations, by letters, and shackled by history will never be able to gain life, and will never be able to gain the perpetual way of life. That is because all they have is turbid water that has lain stagnant for thousands of years, instead of the water of life that flows from the throne. Those who are not supplied with the water of life will forever remain corpses, playthings of Satan, and sons of hell. How, then, can they behold God? If you only try to hold on to the past, only try to keep things as they are by standing still, and do not try to change the status quo and discard history, then will you not always be against God? The steps of God’s work are vast and mighty, like surging waves and rolling thunders—yet you sit and passively await destruction, sticking to your folly and doing nothing. In this way, how can you be considered someone who follows the footsteps of the Lamb? How can you justify the God that you hold on to as a God who is always new and never old? And how can the words of your yellowed books carry you across into a new age? How can they lead you to seek the steps of God’s work? And how can they take you up to heaven? What you hold in your hands is the letters that can provide but temporary solace, not the truths that are capable of giving life. The scriptures you read are that which can only enrich your tongue, not words of wisdom that can help you know human life, much less the ways that can lead you to perfection. Does this discrepancy not give you cause for reflection? Does it not allow you to understand the mysteries contained within? Are you capable of delivering yourself to heaven to meet God on your own? Without the coming of God, can you take yourself into heaven to enjoy family happiness with God? Are you still dreaming now? I suggest, then, that you stop dreaming, and look at who is working now, at who is now carrying out the work of saving man during the last days. If you do not, you shall never gain the truth, and shall never gain life.

Those who wish to gain life without relying on the truth spoken by Christ are the most ridiculous people on earth, and those who do not accept the way of life brought by Christ are lost in fantasy. And so I say that the people who do not accept Christ of the last days shall forever be despised by God. Christ is man’s gateway to the kingdom during the last days, which none may bypass. None may be perfected by God except through Christ. You believe in God, and so you must accept His words and obey His way. You must not just think of gaining blessings without receiving the truth, or accepting the provision of life. Christ comes during the last days so that all those who truly believe in Him may be provided with life. His work is for the sake of concluding the old age and entering the new one, and is the path that must be taken by all those who would enter the new age. If you are incapable of acknowledging Him, and instead condemn, blaspheme or even persecute Him, then you are bound to burn for eternity, and shall never enter the kingdom of God. For this Christ is Himself the expression of the Holy Spirit, the expression of God, the One whom God has entrusted to do His work on earth. And so I say that if you cannot accept all that is done by Christ of the last days, then you blaspheme the Holy Spirit. The retribution that should be suffered by those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit is self-evident to all. I also tell you that if you oppose Christ of the last days, and deny Him, then there is no one who can bear the consequences on your behalf. Furthermore, from this day onward you will not have another chance to gain the approval of God; even if you try to redeem yourself, you will never again behold the face of God. For what you oppose is not a man, what you deny is not some puny being, but Christ. Are you aware of this consequence? You have not made a small mistake, but committed a heinous crime. And so I advise everyone not to bare your fangs before the truth, or make careless criticisms, for only the truth can bring you life, and nothing except the truth can allow you to be reborn and behold the face of God.

Those Who Use “the Theory That the Bible Is Obsolete” to Judge and Condemn God’s Work of the Last Days Are Genuine Antichrists

Which is truly more important—the Bible, or Christ? This is something people should be clear on. There are people in the religious world who make attacks, saying “This is playing up the theory that the Bible is obsolete.” But no matter how people appraise it, what we must do is exalt and bear witness to Christ. This is in accord with God’s will. Because only Christ is the truth, the way, and the life, and the Bible is just a testimony for God and absolutely is not the truth, the way, and the life. It is only Christ who can save people; the Bible cannot. All of the truths expressed by God in the last days can save and perfect people. It doesn’t matter whether they believed in the Lord Jesus before, or if they have read the Bible. As long as they accept Christ of the last days and all the truths expressed by God in the last days, they will be able to gain the perfection of the work of the Holy Spirit as well as God’s approval. This is a fact that no one can deny. As for whether the Bible is outdated, that’s not for us to judge. God Himself has the last word on that, but we must say that if people only believe in the Bible and do not accept the work of the last days done by the returned Lord Jesus—Almighty God—they cannot be saved. This is true. We only speak out on these truths, these realities to bring all those who genuinely believe in God in front of Christ of the last days, so that they may return before the throne of God. No matter how the religious world may attack or judge it, we must make it clear that the Bible does not represent God’s current work, and it absolutely cannot replace God’s work of the last days. Because Almighty God has already come and the judgment before the great white throne of the last days has already begun; only those who accept Almighty God’s judgment of the last days can be saved. This is the truth. If the Bible were able to save mankind, why would the Lord Jesus have returned to do work in the last days? This is why believers must recognize that each stage of God’s work builds on the last and that each stage is closely linked to the next—it certainly is not unchanging or stagnant. This is because God is the real, living God; He is the almighty and wise God. His work does not follow rules, and He does not repeat His actions. His work moves forward with every stage and gradually deepens. God’s judgment of the last days has already begun and the work of the Holy Spirit has been entirely withdrawn. The Spirit now just does God’s work of the last days, and religious circles have long ago sunk into desolation. This shows that God’s work has already shifted, and God is going to thoroughly save mankind from the dark influence of Satan in the last days so that people may truly enter into rest. This is the purpose of God’s work, and it is His management plan. So every time God does new work and opens up a new age, if people continue to cling to the work God has already concluded, they will naturally be eliminated by God. The Bible is merely a witness for God, and what it bears witness to is just His previous two stages of work; this is because He has already done new work, opening up the Age of Kingdom, and the work of the Age of Grace truly has passed. This is not false. However, God’s words in the Bible will all come to be; they will all be fulfilled. This is absolute. People must understand that only God’s work of judgment in the last days is the critical, decisive work for saving mankind. The Bible cannot play a dominant role in this. The work of redemption in the Age of Grace was just to pave the way for God’s work in the last days. If the work of redemption had truly been able to transform people’s dispositions and save man from Satan’s influence so that they can achieve true obedience to God, the Lord Jesus would not have needed to say that He had to come again, and the Bible wouldn’t have needed to prophesy God’s work in the last days. The work of redemption in the Age of Grace became obsolete because of the start of God’s work of judgment in the last days, so the Bible also became an historical work. This is a natural law, and it is also determined by the fact that God’s work is always new, and never grows stale. The documentary of God’s work in the last days, The Word Appears in the Flesh, came to be at just the right time. This is the book of God’s words uttered by Almighty God in the last days, and it is the Bible of the Age of Kingdom. The Word Appears in the Flesh is entirely made of Almighty God’s words, and it was also edited and published under Almighty God’s own direction, and it entirely represents God’s will in the last days. For believers, reading it is a necessity. As long as people devoutly read it, and seek and accept the truth, they will be able to gain the work of the Holy Spirit and be blessed by God. Some people see The Word Appears in the Flesh is like the lightning that suddenly appears from the east, and they know that God has already come and that He has once again done new work. If people still cling to the Bible and do not let go of it, rejecting Christ, that is backward and antiquated, and they will naturally be eliminated. This is a law that people cannot go against. God’s work is always new—He never repeats His work. This is where His almightiness and wisdom lie. If people do not keep pace with God’s work, they will certainly be eliminated. This is an objective law that does not shift based on human will. All those who uphold the Bible but refuse to accept the work of the last days done by Jesus who has returned to the flesh have already fallen behind the pace of the Holy Spirit’s work. If people continue to use “the theory that the Bible is obsolete” to resist and judge God’s work, then they have already been revealed as being just like rigid, unchanging antichrists. If they still continue to use the Bible to resist God and refuse to repent, they will certainly be subject to God’s punishment and damnation. This is why all those who judge and condemn God’s work of the last days with “the theory that the Bible is obsolete” are all genuine antichrists, and they are Satan’s running dogs through and through. This is because antichrists lead people to blindly worship and adore the Bible and to sever their relationship with God, and they try to judge and condemn God’s work by means of picking and choosing from the Bible, and misinterpreting it in order to achieve their goal of permanent control over the religious world. This way, all believers within religious circles are prone to being thoroughly ruined and becoming the children of hell—the consequences are unthinkable. The antichrists are not remotely loving toward Christ in the flesh, but just treat Him as an enemy. They even fabricate lies and rumors to slander and condemn Christ, to resist Him, to be His enemy. They also twist the facts and stand the truth on its head to confuse people and block them from accepting and obeying Christ. If that is not an antichrist, what is? So, those who have love for antichrists are already standing on the side of Satan. Between Christ and the antichrists, anyone who does not stand on the side of God stands on the side of Satan. There is no room for compromise. The Lord Jesus has never had any love for Satan; He just mercilessly exposed the chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees. People must have principles in their love—they must love what God loves and hate what God hates. This is the only way to be in accord with God’s will because the antichrists’ motivation and goals are Satan’s trickery; antichrists are the ringleaders in confusing, entrapping, and ruining God’s chosen people. All who use the Bible to condemn, judge, and resist God’s work of the last days are revealed as genuine antichrists. Everyone must have discernment regarding antichrists—only those who reject Satan, and who follow and obey God can be saved. No matter the unbridled arrogance of the antichrist forces, God is the almighty, wise God, so how could the religious world halt the steps of God’s work? Just as Almighty God has said: “The work of God is like mightily surging waves. No one can detain Him, and no one can halt His footsteps. Only those who listen carefully to His words, and who seek and thirst for Him, can follow His footsteps and receive His promise. Those who do not shall be subjected to overwhelming disaster and deserved punishment.” “What you should understand is this: The work of God never waits for any that cannot keep pace with Him, and the righteous disposition of God shows no mercy to any man.

Only Those Who Exalt, Bear Witness to Christ, and Are Compatible With Him Follow God’s Will

Almighty God said this: “At first I wished to supply you with more truths, but as your attitude toward the truth is much too cold and indifferent, I have to give up. I do not wish for My efforts to be wasted, nor do I wish to see people hold My words yet in all places do that which resists Me, maligns Me, and blasphemes Me. Because of your attitudes and your humanity, I merely supply you with a small part of words that are very important to you as My test among mankind. It is not until now that I truly confirm that the decisions and plans I have made are in accord with what you need, and furthermore, confirm that My attitude toward mankind is correct. Your many years of actions before Me have given Me the answer that I have never previously received. And the question to this answer is: ‘What is the attitude of man before the truth and the true God?’ The effort I have poured into man proves My substance of loving man, and the actions and deeds of man before My presence have also proved man’s substance of abhorring the truth and opposing Me. At all times I am concerned for all who have followed Me, yet at no time are those who follow Me able to receive My word; they are completely unable to accept even any suggestions that come from Me. This is what saddens Me most of all. None are ever able to understand Me and, moreover, none are able to accept Me, even though My attitude is sincere and My words are gentle. All are doing the work entrusted by Me in accordance with their original intentions; they seek not My intentions, much less ask for My requests. They still claim to serve Me loyally, all while they rebel against Me. Many believe that truths which are unacceptable to them or which they cannot practice are not truths. For such men, My truths become something to be denied and cast aside. At the same time, I then become one acknowledged by man in word alone as God, but also considered an outsider that is not the truth, the way, or the life. None know this truth: My words are the forever unchanging truth. I am the supply of life for man and the only guide for mankind. The worth and meaning of My words are not determined by whether they are recognized or accepted by mankind, but by the substance of the words themselves. Even if not a single person on this earth can receive My words, the value of My words and their help to mankind are inestimable by any man. Therefore, when faced with the many men who rebel against, refute, or are utterly contemptuous of My words, My stance is only this: Let time and facts be My witness and show that My words are the truth, the way, and the life. Let them show that all I have said is right, and is that which man should be furnished with, and, moreover, that which man should accept. I will let all who follow Me know this fact: Those who cannot fully accept My words, those who cannot practice My words, those who cannot find a purpose in My words, and those who cannot receive salvation because of My words, are those who have been condemned by My words and, moreover, have lost My salvation, and My rod shall never stray from them.

How to really know the essence of Christ and the significance of God becoming flesh is incredibly important for whether people can be perfected and become those who follow God’s will in their faith. Jesus said in the Age of Grace: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me” (Jhn 14:6). Almighty God of the last days also said: “While seeking the footprints of God, you ignored the words that ‘God is the truth, the way, and the life.’” God’s words show that in one’s faith, only by knowing that Christ is the truth, the way, and the life can one gain salvation and God’s approval. Looking back on the words spoken by the Lord Jesus in the Age of Grace brings up so many emotions. He said: “Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.” So, what is doing the will of our Father in heaven? It is having faith in the One who has been sent by God. It is accepting and obeying Christ, pursuing the truth with all your might, it is exalting and bearing witness to Christ. It is bringing people in front of God to achieve understanding of Christ and gaining Christ to become someone who truly loves God. This is doing the will of God. So all those who follow His will can enter into the kingdom of heaven, while all those who are unable to recognize that Christ is the truth, the way, and the life will never enter into the kingdom. There is no doubt about this.
