"God's Wondrous Deeds in Managing All Things" | Praise Hymn With Lyrics

May 3, 2020

Verse 1

Over the centuries,

the tiny stream trickled

around the foot of the mountain,

gently following the course the mountain made.

It made its way back home,

it joined the river,

and then it flowed into the sea.

Under the mountain’s care,

the stream, the stream was never lost, never lost.

Chorus 1

The tiny stream and the great mountain,

they relied on each other,

they restrained one another,

they depended one upon the other.

Verse 2

Over the centuries,

the fierce wind didn’t change.

It always howled at the mountain,

blew great swirls of sand, visiting the mountain,

as it always had before.

It threatened the mountain,

but never broke through its middle.

They carried on in the same way they always had.

Chorus 2

The fierce wind and the great mountain,

they relied on each other,

they restrained one another,

they depended one upon the other.

Verse 3

Over the centuries,

the huge wave never rested,

and it never stopped expanding.

It would roar and surge and roar and surge again.

However, the great mountain

never moved even an inch.

It watched over the ocean,

and the creatures in the sea multiplied and thrived.

Chorus 3

The huge wave and the great mountain,

they relied on each other,

they restrained one another,

they depended one upon the other.
