Christian Devotional Song | "Performing One's Duty Means Doing All They Can"

May 28, 2020

Chorus

Man doing his duty, in fact,

is to complete what’s inherent in him,

all that is possible for him,

and that’s when his duty is done.

Verse 1

Man’s defects during his service

reduce with more experience

and the process of being judged;

they do not hinder man’s duty.

Those men who cease to serve or yield

and fall back in fear of defects

that may exist in their service

are the most cowardly of all.

Chorus

Man doing his duty, in fact,

is to complete what’s inherent in him,

all that is possible for him,

and that’s when his duty is done.

Man doing his duty, in fact,

is to complete what’s inherent in him,

all that is possible for him,

and that’s when his duty is done.

Verse 2

If man can’t speak what he ought to

during his service to God,

or achieve what’s possible for him,

but fools about, goes through the motions,

then he’s lost his human function.

This kind of man is considered

mediocre and a waste of space.

Can he be called a created being?

Pre-chorus

Is he not shining on the outside while rotting from within?

Chorus

Man doing his duty, in fact,

is to complete what’s inherent in him,

all that is possible for him,

and that’s when his duty is done.

Man doing his duty, in fact,

is to complete what’s inherent in him,

all that is possible for him,

and that’s when his duty is done, his duty is done.
