193 What God Shows to All Is His Righteous Disposition
Verse 1
When God incarnate carries out His work,
He only manifests Himself to a fraction
of the people who follow Him at that time.
No, not all creatures behold God become flesh.
He became flesh for one stage of His work,
and not for the sake of showing man His image.
Pre-chorus 1
Only those who follow Him may see His image.
That is why the work that He does now
is carried out in secret.
Chorus
What God manifests to the multitude
is only His righteous disposition
and, of course, all His deeds.
It is not the image of His body
when He twice became flesh, incarnate.
For the image of God
can only be shown through His disposition,
and cannot be replaced by the image
of His incarnate flesh.
Verse 2
The work God does among man is designed
to let them understand His disposition.
It’s shown by the work of different ages,
achieved through the disposition He’s made known.
It’s accomplished through the work that He has done,
rather than the manifestation of Jesus.
Pre-chorus 2
Not through His incarnate image,
but through the incarnation’s work
is the image of God made known.
Chorus
What God manifests to the multitude
is only His righteous disposition
and, of course, all His deeds.
It is not the image of His body
when He twice became flesh, incarnate.
For the image of God
can only be shown through His disposition,
and cannot be replaced by the image
of His incarnate flesh.
For the image of God
can only be shown through His disposition,
and cannot be replaced by the image
of His incarnate flesh.
Bridge
Through His work, His image is shown,
His disposition is made known.
This is the meaning of the work
He wishes to do in the flesh.
Chorus
What God manifests to the multitude
is only His righteous disposition
and, of course, all His deeds.
It is not the image of His body
when He twice became flesh, incarnate.
For the image of God
can only be shown through His disposition,
and cannot be replaced by the image
of His incarnate flesh,
and cannot be replaced by the image
of His incarnate flesh, incarnate flesh.
