337 What Have You Dedicated to God?
Intro
Abraham offered up Isaac.
What have you offered up?
Job offered up everything.
What have you offered up?
Verse 1
Many men have given their lives,
many men have laid down their heads,
many men have shed all their blood
in order to seek the true way.
Have you ever paid that price?
By comparison to them,
you are not at all qualified
to enjoy such great grace.
Chorus
Don’t see yourselves too highly.
You’ve nothing to brag about.
Such great salvation and grace
is given to you freely.
You have sacrificed nothing,
but instead have just enjoyed
all the grace freely.
Do you not feel so ashamed?
Verse 2
Did you seek to find this true way?
Didn’t the Spirit force you to accept it?
Well, you never had a heart
of seeking, longing for truth.
You’ve just sat back and enjoyed it,
and gained this truth with no effort.
What right do you have to complain?
Do you think you’re the greatest worth?
Chorus
Don’t see yourselves too highly.
You’ve nothing to brag about.
Such great salvation and grace
is given to you freely.
You have sacrificed nothing,
but instead have just enjoyed
all the grace freely.
Do you not feel so ashamed?
Bridge
What do you have to complain about,
compared to those who spill blood
and who sacrifice their lives?
Aside from obeying and following,
you have no other choices.
You simply are not worthy!
Chorus
Don’t see yourselves too highly.
You’ve nothing to brag about.
Such great salvation and grace
is given to you freely.
You have sacrificed nothing,
but instead have just enjoyed
all the grace freely.
Do you not feel so ashamed?
Don’t see yourselves too highly.
You’ve nothing to brag about.
Such great salvation and grace
is given to you freely.
You’ve sacrificed nothing,
but instead have just enjoyed
all the grace freely.
Do you not feel so ashamed?
