348 What Value Is There in Cherishing Status?

Intro

People don’t know how to care for God’s will.

They cannot see His actions.

They cannot move inside the light,

nor have the light shone upon them.

Verse 1

Although man ever treasures God’s words,

he cannot see through the schemes of Satan.

As his stature is too small,

he can’t do as his heart wishes.

Man has never loved God sincerely.

When God exalts him, he feels unworthy,

yet he doesn’t try to make God satisfied,

just scrutinizing his given status.

Chorus 1

Man keeps on engorging

on the benefits of his status.

Man’s insensible to the loveliness of God.

Isn’t this man’s deficiency?

Bridge

When the mountains move, could they make a detour

for the sake of man’s position?

When the waters flow, could they stop?

Could the heavens and earth be reversed?

Verse 2

God was once so merciful toward man,

merciful over and over again,

yet no one cherishes or treasures this.

They merely listened as a tale

or read it as if it were a novel.

Do His words really not touch man’s heart?

Are His utterances ineffectual?

Maybe no one believes in His existence?

Chorus 2

Man doesn’t love himself;

he unites with Satan

and they attack God.

Man uses Satan as an asset to serve God.

Outro

God will penetrate all Satan’s schemes,

and stop the people of the earth

from accepting the deceptions of Satan,

so they don’t oppose Him.
