414 Why People Fail in Their Faith
Verse 1
The most basic need for man’s faith in God
is an honest heart.
He must fully devote every part of himself and truly obey.
What is hardest for man is to give his whole life
in exchange for true faith,
through which he can gain the entire truth,
fulfilling his duty as one of God’s creatures.
Pre-chorus 1
This is beyond reach of those who fail,
and more beyond reach of those who can’t find Christ.
Chorus
Since man is not good at devotion to God,
since man doesn’t want to do his duty to Him,
since man has seen truth but still walks his own path,
since man always seeks by following
the path of those who failed,
since man defies Heaven, then man always fails
and gets taken in by Satan’s deception,
and is trapped in his own net.
Verse 2
Since man isn’t good at grasping the truth,
and doesn’t know Christ,
because man is too admiring of Paul
and covetous of heaven,
and since man demands that Christ obey him
and gives orders to God,
thus those great ones and those who have lived
the world’s ups and downs are still mortal.
Pre-chorus 2
Thus all of them will surely still die;
they will die amid the chastisement of God.
Chorus
Since man is not good at devotion to God,
since man doesn’t want to do his duty to Him,
since man has seen truth but still walks his own path,
since man always seeks by following
the path of those who failed,
since man defies Heaven, then man always fails
and gets taken in by Satan’s deception,
and is trapped in his own net.
