246 God Wishes for More People to Gain His Salvation

Verse 1

God hopes more people will study carefully

when faced with God’s words and His work,

approaching these important words with a godly heart.

Do not follow footsteps of those who are punished.

Do not be like Paul, who clearly knew the true way

but defied on purpose, lost the sin offering.

Chorus

Accept His new work, receive the truth He gives.

Then you can gain the salvation of God.

Verse 2

God does not want more to be punished,

hoping instead for more to be saved,

for more people to keep up, more to follow His footsteps,

for more to enter into the kingdom of God.

Chorus

Accept His new work, receive the truth He gives.

Then you can gain the salvation of God.

Verse 3

God treats all righteously, no matter your age,

no matter how senior you are, or suffering you’ve endured.

His disposition stays forever unchanged,

righteous in the face of these things.

He does not favor anyone, but cares if man accepts

His truth and new work, casting aside all other things.

Chorus

Accept His new work, receive the truth He gives.

Then you can gain the salvation of God.

Accept His new work, receive the truth He gives.

Then you can gain the salvation of God.
