01Is just working hard for the Lord doing God’s will? What does it really mean to do God’s will?

A lot of believers think that by just working hard, expending themselves and making sacrifices for the Lord, they are doing the will of God, and that when the Lord comes, they’ll be fit to enter the kingdom of heaven. But the Lord Jesus said, “Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name? and in Your name have cast out devils? and in Your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:22–23). Those who shared the gospel, cast out devils and did many wonderful things in the Lord’s name all toiled for the Lord. So why didn’t the Lord Jesus say that they were doing the will of God, but instead condemned them as evildoers? What really is doing God’s will?

And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:21–23).

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like to it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37–39).

“If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our stayed with him. He that loves Me not keeps not My sayings: and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s which sent Me” (John 14:23–24).

“If you continue in My word, then are you My disciples indeed” (John 8:31).

02How can we truly do God’s will and get into the kingdom of heaven?

God has returned in the flesh in the last days. He is expressing truths and doing the work of judgment beginning with God’s house upon the foundation of the Lord Jesus’ work of redemption in order to cleanse and change our satanic dispositions. If we want to do the will of God and be taken into His kingdom, we must accept God’s work of judgment in the last days. By experiencing the judgment of Almighty God’s words, our corrupt dispositions can be gradually cleansed and changed. We’ll develop true submission and love for God and become able to follow His words in all that we do. This is the only way we can become people who do the will of God and gain entry into God’s kingdom as He promised.
