01Disasters are occurring one after another and the portents of the Lord’s return have been seen—He has already returned

Plagues, famine, earthquakes and other disasters have become common occurrences all over the world and are becoming increasingly severe. Strange celestial phenomena have also appeared. The prophecies of the Lord’s return have been largely fulfilled. The Lord Jesus, who we’ve been longing for all these years, came down quietly among us long ago.

“And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed” (Luke 17:26–30).

“And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:6–8).

“And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Jehovah comes” (Joel 2:30–31).

“And I beheld when He had opened the sixth seal, and, see, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind” (Revelation 6:12–13).

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken” (Matthew 24:29).

02The Lord returns in secret before the disasters, then shows Himself openly after the disasters

Regarding the matter of welcoming the Lord, many people only pay mind to the prophecy of the Lord coming upon a cloud while overlooking the prophecies of the Lord becoming flesh and coming in secret: “Be you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when you think not” (Luke 12:40). “Behold, I come as a thief” (Revelation 16:15). In fact, the Lord returns in secret before the disasters and makes a group of overcomers, then He will openly appear after the disasters to reward the good and punish the wicked. This completely fulfills the prophecies of the Lord’s return.

“Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).

“For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in His day. But first must He suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” (Luke 17:24–25).

“And if any man hear My words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects Me, and receives not My words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:47–48).

“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God” (1 Peter 4:17).

“Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:7).

“Because you have seen Me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed” (John 20:29).

03How to welcome the Lord while He is here in secret

Before the disasters, the Lord comes in secret, but He will reveal Himself openly after the disasters. So, how can we welcome the Lord while He is here in secret? There is a prophecy in Revelation 3:20: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.” When the Lord returns to the earth in the last days, He utters words to find His sheep. The wise virgins hear God’s voice and they accept it and follow. These are the people who welcome the Lord and attend His feast before the great disasters.
