275 God Controls the Fate of Every Nation and People
Intro
The rise and fall of a country or nation
depends on whether its rulers worship God,
and whether they lead their people closer to God,
and whether they lead them to worship Him.
Verse 1
Your country may prosper, but if your people stray from God,
it shall become more and more bereft of God’s blessings.
Its civilization shall become trampled underfoot,
and its people shall rise up against God and curse Heaven.
Unbeknownst to man, the country’s fate shall be ruined.
God shall raise up powerful countries to deal with those cursed,
and they may even be wiped from the face of the earth.
Chorus
God plays no part in the politics of man,
yet He controls a country or nation’s fate.
God controls this world and the whole universe.
His plan and the fate of man are intertwined,
and no man, no country and no nation
is exempt from the sovereignty of God.
Verse 2
Righteous forces exist on earth, but the rule is fragile
wherever God holds no place in the heart of the people.
Without God’s blessings, the political arena
cannot bear a single blow and falls into disarray.
Being without God’s blessings is like being without the sun.
No matter how many righteous meetings are held by man,
or how hard rulers work for their people, it can’t change man’s fate.
Bridge
Man believes a peaceful country that feeds and clothes its people
is a good country, and one with good leadership,
but God believes a country in which no one worships Him
is one that He shall annihilate and destroy.
The way man thinks is too much at odds with the way God thinks.
So therefore, if a country’s head does not worship God,
its fate will be tragic, it will have no destination.
Chorus
God plays no part in the politics of man,
yet He controls a country or nation’s fate.
God controls this world and the whole universe.
His plan and the fate of man are intertwined,
and no man, no country and no nation
is exempt from the sovereignty of God.
Outro
To know his fate, man must come before God.
God shall cause those who follow and worship Him
to prosper, while bringing decline and extinction
upon those who resist and reject Him.
