1011 God Decides People’s End According to Their Essence
Verse 1
If one is ultimately able to survive,
it’s because they’ve achieved God’s requirements.
But if one can’t live in final rest,
it’s because they disobey and can’t please God.
Neither a child’s wicked deeds nor their righteousness
can be transferred to his or her parents.
And parents’ evil or righteousness
can’t be shared with any of their children.
Chorus
There’s a destination that each person deserves.
That’s determined based on their essence.
One’s destination is in no way related to others.
Verse 2
To each their own sins or their blessing,
no one can substitute for another.
If one is a doer of righteousness, they’re righteous.
And one is an evildoer if evil’s what they do.
Doers of righteousness are bound to survive,
and destruction awaits evildoers.
If one is holy, there’s no filthy spot on them.
If one is filthy, they have no single holy part.
Chorus
There’s a destination that each person deserves.
That’s determined based on their essence.
One’s destination is in no way related to others.
Verse 3
Wicked people are to be destroyed,
and survival awaits righteous people,
even if an evildoer’s child is righteous,
or a righteous person’s parents are wicked.
There is no relationship whatsoever
if a husband believes and a wife doesn’t,
or if a child believes and their parents don’t.
They’re two types that do not go together.
Chorus
There’s a destination that each person deserves.
That’s determined based on their essence.
One’s destination is in no way related to others.
Verse 4
So before one enters into rest,
there are physical relatives ’round them.
But once they’ve entered into rest,
they have no such relatives to speak of.
If one does their duty, they’re a foe to those who don’t.
Those who love God are foes to those who hate Him.
And those who enter into rest
are incompatible with those who are destroyed.
Chorus
There’s a destination that each person deserves.
That’s determined based on their essence.
One’s destination is in no way related to others.
