97 God Hopes for Man’s True Faith

Verse 1

God holds man to a strict standard.

He doesn’t want your loyalty if it comes with conditions.

God hates those who cheat Him with intents

and extort Him with demands, extort Him with demands.

Chorus

God wishes for man to be loyal

and faithful to none but Him,

to do all things for the sake of faith,

and to prove that one word—faith, faith.

Verse 2

God despises sweetened words

that you use to make Him rejoice.

Because He treats you with sincerity,

He wishes you’d act towards Him with true faith.

Chorus

God wishes for man to be loyal

and faithful to none but Him,

to do all things for the sake of faith,

and to prove that one word—faith, faith,

prove that one word—faith,

to prove that one word—faith.
