90 God’s Word Is Authority and Judgment
Verse 1
Most people ignore God’s words, think they’re words, not facts.
They’re blind; don’t they know God’s the faithful God Himself?
God’s words and the facts occur simultaneously.
Isn’t this true about the faithful God Himself?
Verse 2
God Himself’s judgment, majesty; none can change this.
It’s one side of His administrative decrees.
It is one way for Him to judge all people,
yes, one way for Him to judge all He oversees.
Chorus
When God created all things or destroys the world,
when He chooses to make the firstborn sons complete,
they’re all things accomplished by one word from His mouth.
For His word itself is judgment, authority.
Verse 3
In His eyes all people, affairs and everything
are all under His judgment and all in His hands.
No one and nothing dares be wild and willful.
All must be done according to His words’ commands.
Chorus
When God created all things or destroys the world,
when He chooses to make the firstborn sons complete,
they’re all things accomplished by one word from His mouth.
For His word itself is judgment, authority.
Bridge
He uses words for all things, doesn’t move one finger.
This is what makes His almightiness evident.
He uses words for all things, doesn’t move one finger.
This is what makes His almightiness evident.
Chorus
When God created all things or destroys the world,
when He chooses to make the firstborn sons complete,
they’re all things accomplished by one word from His mouth.
For His word itself is judgment, authority.
