273 The Existence of All Mankind Rests on God

Verse 1

God’s final work isn’t just punishing man,

but also to arrange man’s destination.

He also wants to receive acknowledgment

from all of mankind-kind for all that He has done, done.

Verse 2

God will allow every person to see

all He’s done is right and shows His disposition.

Neither man nor nature has brought forth mankind.

Only God can nourish all living creatures.

Chorus

God is man’s only salvation.

God is man’s only hope.

God is the One on whom man’s existence rests.

God is man’s only salvation.

Verse 3

Without Him, man would perish, suffer in plagues.

None would see the sun, the moon or green world again.

Man would only encounter the frigid night

and the dark valley of the shadow of death, death.

Verse 4

Without Him, man would be stagnant, in ruins,

be stomped on by ghosts, though man pays no heed to God.

God has done work that no one else could have done,

hoping man will repay Him with good actions, actions.

Chorus

God is man’s only salvation.

God is man’s only hope.

God is the One on whom man’s existence rests.

God is man’s only salvation.

God is man’s only salvation.

God is man’s only hope.

God is the One on whom man’s existence rests.

God is man’s only salvation.
