529 Do Not Indulge Yourself Because God Is Tolerant

Verse 1

Though very few people know God,

He does not unleash His wrath on man,

for man is too lacking to attain

the level He asks of them.

Verse 2

God has been tolerant of man

both today and for thousands of years.

He hopes you will not be indulgent

because of His tolerance.

Chorus

Pursuing knowledge of God is key,

but focusing on practice is crucial as well.

God reveals His words to you directly,

hoping you can follow His guidance,

let go of your personal plans,

let go of your own ambitions.

Verse 3

Through Peter, you should know God.

Through Peter, you should seek after Him.

Peter’s exploits should enlighten you

to attain realms man has never reached.

Bridge 1

Throughout the cosmos and the firmament,

among everything in heaven and earth,

all things upon heaven and earth

give their all to God’s final stage of work.

Do you wish to be a spectator

taking orders from Satan?

Chorus

Pursuing knowledge of God is key,

but focusing on practice is crucial as well.

God reveals His words to you directly,

hoping you can follow His guidance,

let go of your personal plans,

let go of your own ambitions.

Bridge 2

Satan is ever present in man’s heart,

devouring their knowledge of God.

Gnashing its teeth, flexing its claws,

it is in the final throes of death.

Do you wish to fall prey to Satan?

Fall prey to its cunning schemes?

Outro

Do you wish to ruin your life

when God’s work is finally done?

Are you waiting for God to show

His tolerance once more?
