641 God’s Exaltation of Moab’s Descendants

Verse 1

You are now being judged by God,

in the end how much will you understand?

Though your status is not high, you will say,

you have now enjoyed God’s elevation.

Born so low, you did not have standing.

And the status you’ve been given,

it’s all because of God’s elevation.

It’s what He has bestowed upon you.

Chorus

Today you can receive God’s training and judgment,

chastisement, burning, purification.

This is all a sign of God’s great love,

and so much more His elevation.

Verse 2

None were perfected by God’s words before,

none got His burning, purifying.

God speaks to cleanse you, to show your rebellion.

Now truly this is His elevation.

Whether children of David or of Moab,

they’re created beings with little to brag.

As God’s creatures, do your duty for Him.

And for you there is no other demand.

Chorus

Today you can receive God’s training and judgment,

chastisement, burning, purification.

This is all a sign of God’s great love,

and so much more His elevation.

Today you can receive God’s training and judgment,

chastisement, burning, purification.

This is all a sign of God’s great love,

and so much more His elevation.
