28 We Gather in Joy to Praise God

Intro

Praise and be joyous! God’s returned victorious!

It is our duty to bear witness to God and to praise God.

Verse 1

We gather in joy to praise God, and we are so happy.

We follow God’s footsteps and attend the feast.

We praise God in the flesh as He begins a new era.

God Himself works and speaks among us,

He judges all of man’s injustice

and reveals their corruption.

Face-to-face, we witness God’s appearance.

His disposition, merciful, majestic and righteous.

Refrain

Praise and be joyous! God’s returned victorious!

Praise and be joyous! God’s returned victorious!

Verse 2

We eat and drink God’s words, pray to God,

and we have strength in our hearts.

By understanding the truth,

we have a new way to follow and are brightened in our hearts.

We live the truth to satisfy God and our hearts are at peace.

We undergo God’s judgment and He’s cleansing our corruption.

So lovable, His righteous disposition.

We’ve tasted God’s true love and attained His great salvation.

We are blessed when we praise and to Him bear witness.

Refrain

Praise and be joyous! God’s returned victorious!

Praise and be joyous! God’s returned victorious!

Verse 3

God has defeated Satan and has made a group of overcomers.

The great red dragon has been thoroughly

humiliated and overcome.

God’s actions have been fully revealed to mankind.

We see God so wise and almighty.

With His salvation, God shows mankind such grace, surely.

Totally convinced, we bow down in worship wholeheartedly.

Thanks to God’s judgment, purification for our salvation.

Refrain

Praise and be joyous! God’s returned victorious!

Praise and be joyous! God’s returned victorious!
