80 Repaying God’s Love and Being His Witness

Verse 1

God humbly became flesh to save mankind,

guiding each step, walking among churches,

expressing the truth, painstakingly watering man,

purifying him and making him perfect.

Chorus

I’ve tasted the bitterness of trials

and undergone God’s judgment.

The sweet follows the bitter,

and my corruption is cleansed.

I offer up my heart, I offer up my body

to repay God’s love, to repay God’s love.

Verse 2

God has seen many springs, He has seen many summers,

autumns and winters, taking the bitter with the sweet.

He sacrifices all without ever regretting,

He’s given His love selflessly.

Chorus

I’ve tasted the bitterness of trials

and undergone God’s judgment.

The sweet follows the bitter,

and my corruption is cleansed.

I offer up my heart, I offer up my body

to repay God’s love, to repay God’s love.

Bridge

Loved ones have discarded me, others defamed me,

but my love is unwavering for God till the end.

I am utterly devoted to following God’s will.

I endure persecution and tribulations,

experiencing the ups, experiencing the downs.

It matters not that I endure this in life,

it matters not that my life’s full of bitterness.

It’s God I must follow and to God testify.

Chorus

I’ve tasted the bitterness of trials

and undergone God’s judgment.

The sweet follows the bitter,

and my corruption is cleansed.

I offer up my heart, I offer up my body

to repay God’s love, to repay God’s love.
