538 Man Is Saved When They Cast Off Satan’s Influence

Verse 1

Man’s flesh is of Satan, full of disobedience,

extremely filthy and unclean.

Man covets joys of flesh, shows the flesh too much.

This is why God despises it.

Chorus

When you rid yourself of the corruption of flesh,

freed from its grasp, will you not be saved?

You can’t manifest God in filth under Satan,

nor receive His inheritance.

Once you’re cleansed and perfect,

you’ll be holy and normal, blessed and delightful to God.

Verse 2

When people cast away the filthy things of Satan,

they will gain the salvation of God.

But if they do not rid themselves of filth and corruption,

then they are still living under Satan.

Chorus

When you rid yourself of the corruption of flesh,

freed from its grasp, will you not be saved?

You can’t manifest God in filth under Satan,

nor receive His inheritance.

Once you’re cleansed and perfect,

you’ll be holy and normal, blessed and delightful to God.

Bridge

Conniving, deceitful ways are things of Satan;

salvation frees you from these things.

God’s work can’t be wrong,

it will save people from darkness.

Chorus

When you rid yourself of the corruption of flesh,

freed from its grasp, will you not be saved?

You can’t manifest God in filth under Satan,

nor receive His inheritance.

Once you’re cleansed and perfect,

you’ll be holy and normal, blessed and delightful to God.
