643 The Significance of God’s Work on Moab’s Descendants
Verse 1
God works on the descendants of Moab
to save the fallen in the darkest place.
They’re cursed but God wants to
gain glory from them,
because in the beginning,
they were the people,
the ones lacking God in their hearts.
Chorus
The true conquest is to turn those
who lacked God to those who love Him.
The fruit is priceless and convincing.
This is gaining glory,
the glory God wants to gain in the last of days.
This is the significance of working on
the descendants of Moab.
Verse 2
Though lowly, they can gain salvation;
it’s God’s uplifting.
This work has deep meaning.
With judgment, God gains them.
He does not mean to punish them,
but rather comes to save.
If He were conquering Israel
in the last days, it’d be worthless.
Pre-chorus
Even if fruitful, there’d be no value,
no way for God to gain all glory.
He works on you, the fallen ones in darkness
who’re most backward.
Chorus
The true conquest is to turn those
who lacked God to those who love Him.
The fruit is priceless and convincing.
This is gaining glory,
the glory God wants to gain in the last of days.
This is the significance of working on
the descendants of Moab.
Bridge
These people don’t acknowledge
or know that God exists.
Corrupted so far by Satan,
that they’ve forgotten Him,
blinded by Satan, never knowing
there’s a God in heaven.
You worship Satan, worship idols,
aren’t you the lowest of flesh?
You lack freedom, suffer hardship,
the bottom rungs of society,
without even freedom of faith.
This is why God works on you, yeah.
Chorus
The true conquest is to turn those
who lacked God to those who love Him.
The fruit is priceless and convincing.
This is gaining glory,
the glory God wants to gain in the last of days.
This is the significance of working on
the descendants of Moab.
This is the significance of working on
the descendants of Moab.
