671 God Will Appear to You If You Stand Witness in Trials
Verse 1
You go through the trials of Job
and those of Peter at the same time.
Job stood witness when he was tested.
At the end, Jehovah was revealed.
Only after standing witness
was he worthy to see God’s face.
Pre-chorus 1
Why is it said: “I hide from the land of filth
but show Myself to the holy kingdom”?
It means only when you’re holy and stand witness
can you have the dignity to see God’s face.
Chorus
When you endure refinements to a certain point
and still remain fully compliant just like Job,
the same in front of God,
with nothing you require of Him
and none of your own notions,
then God will appear to you.
Verse 2
If you can’t stand witness for God,
you lack dignity to see His face.
If you retreat or make complaints
against Him in the face of trials,
you fail as a witness and are Satan’s joke,
you won’t gain God’s appearance.
Pre-chorus 2
Job cursed his own flesh in the midst of trials,
refused to complain or sin through his words.
If you can be like Job and detest your own flesh,
then you will be able to stand witness.
Chorus
When you endure refinements to a certain point
and still remain fully compliant just like Job,
the same in front of God,
with nothing you require of Him
and none of your own notions,
then God will appear to you,
the same in front of God,
with nothing you require of Him
and none of your own notions,
then God will appear to you.
