600 Success or Failure Depends on the Path That Man Walks
Verse 1
The truth comes from the world of man,
yet it’s Christ who passes it on.
It stems from Christ—from God Himself;
it’s not something man’s capable of.
Christ only gives the truth to man;
He does not come to conclude
whether man’s pursuit is successful—
that’s all down to man’s pursuit.
Verse 2
Man’s success in the truth or his failure
is not something which Christ ever rules.
It’s solely down to man’s actions,
it’s determined by his pursuit.
If the path you pursue is the right one,
then there is a hope you’ll succeed.
If you seek the truth on the wrong path,
success will never be achieved.
Chorus
Exclusion or perfection
on your own pursuit is dependent.
Whether man succeeds or fails
rests upon the path that he takes.
Verse 3
Those who pursue love for God
should not seek benefits for themselves,
or seek that for which they themselves long.
This means of pursuit is most correct.
If the thing which you seek is the truth,
and the truth is what you live by,
if you can change your disposition,
then the path you’ve chosen is right.
Chorus
Exclusion or perfection
on your own pursuit is dependent.
Whether man succeeds or fails
rests upon the path that he takes.
Verse 4
If the thing that you are seeking
is the fleshly blessings,
and what you put into practice
is the truth of your own imaginings,
if you can’t change your disposition,
and you disobey Christ, live in vagueness,
what you seek will transport you to hell,
for the path you walk is that of failure.
Chorus
Exclusion or perfection
on your own pursuit is dependent.
Whether man succeeds or fails
rests upon the path that he takes.
