346 You Just Don’t Know Your Status
Verse 1
Each and every one of you has risen
to the pinnacle of the multitudes.
You’ve ascended to be the ancestors,
yes, the ancestors of the masses.
Pre-chorus 1
You are so very arbitrary,
running amok among all the maggots,
seeking a place of ease, attempting to devour
the maggots that are smaller than you.
Chorus
You’re malicious and sinister in your hearts,
surpassing ghosts sunk to the sea’s bottom.
You reside in the bottom of the dung,
disturbing maggots from top to bottom.
You do this until they have no peace,
fighting for a while and then calming down.
You do not know your place,
you just don’t know your status.
Verse 2
Still you fight with each other in the dung.
What do you hope to gain from such struggle?
If rev’rence for God is truly in your hearts,
why fight with each other behind His back?
Pre-chorus 2
No matter how high your status,
you’re still a stinking little worm in the dung.
So will you be able, be able to sprout wings
and thus become a dove in the sky?
