983 Every Day You Live Now Is Crucial
Chorus
Every day you live now is crucial
for your fate and destination.
Cherish all that you have today,
treasure each minute that passes away,
carve out all your time for the greatest gains,
so you’ll not have lived this life in vain.
Verse 1
You may feel confused about
why God would utter such words.
To be frank, He is not pleased at all
by the conduct of any of you.
For the hopes He once had for you
were not to see you as you are now.
Verse 2
Each of you is on danger’s brink.
Your cries for help, your former hopes
to seek truth and light approach their end.
God never awaited such recompense.
God never speaks against the facts,
for you’ve greatly disappointed Him.
Pre-chorus
You may not wish to accept or face reality,
yet God asks you seriously:
What have your hearts been filled with all these years?
To whom are they loyal?
Chorus
Every day you live now is crucial
for your fate and destination.
Cherish all that you have today,
treasure each minute that passes away,
carve out all your time for the greatest gains,
so you’ll not have lived this life in vain.
Bridge
God knows you all too well;
He cares for you too deeply,
investing so much of His heart
in your conducts and your deeds.
So He keeps calling you to account,
bearing all bitter hardships.
Yet all you give Him in return
is indifference and resignation.
Verse 3
You’ve been so remiss toward God.
Do you think He knows nothing of it?
This shows your true lack of kindness for Him.
You’re burying your heads in the sand.
So clever you know not what you do,
then what’ll you use to give Him account?
Chorus
Every day you live now is crucial
for your fate and destination.
Cherish all that you have today,
treasure each minute that passes away,
carve out all your time for the greatest gains,
so you’ll not have lived this life in vain.
