960 How Not to Offend God’s Disposition

Verse 1

Within every sentence God has spoken

is His disposition.

So ponder over His words carefully,

you’ll surely profit greatly.

And yes, the substance of God

is very hard to grasp,

but you may all have some idea

about the disposition of God.

Chorus

God hopes that you will show Him

and do much more of the things

which won’t offend His disposition.

Then will He be reassured.

Verse 2

You should all learn to keep God in your heart,

keep Him there at all times.

When you act, do so by His words.

Seek His intent in all things.

Refrain from doing all the things

which disrespect and dishonor Him.

Put Him not to the back of your mind

to fill the future void in your heart.

Pre-chorus

Do this, and you offend the disposition of God.

Chorus

God hopes that you will show Him

and do much more of the things

which won’t offend His disposition.

Then will He be reassured.

Bridge

If you never make blasphemous remarks,

nor make complaints against God throughout your life,

properly discharge all He’s asked of you,

submit to all His words throughout your life,

then you will have successfully avoided

transgressing the administrative decrees.

Chorus

God hopes that you will show Him

and do much more of the things

which won’t offend His disposition.

Then will He be reassured.

Outro

Within every sentence

God has spoken is His disposition.
