326 The Saddest Thing About Mankind’s Belief in God
Verse 1
Man’s greatest failure in faith
is seeking to obey and worship God,
but plotting out his own blessings
and best destination.
Who will abandon their ideals
even if they know they’re pathetic and hateful?
Who can halt their own steps
and stop thinking just of themselves?
Chorus
The saddest thing about mankind’s belief
is that man conducts his own management,
paying no heed to the work of God
or God’s management, His management.
Verse 2
God needs those who cooperate with Him
to complete His management,
who obey Him and give their all
to the work of His management.
He doesn’t need beggars
or those who work and wait for His reward,
despising those resting on their laurels.
Chorus
The saddest thing about mankind’s belief
is that man conducts his own management,
paying no heed to the work of God
or God’s management, His management.
Bridge
God hates the cold-blooded who resent His work
and only talk of heaven and blessings.
He has even greater loathing
for those who take advantage
of the opportunity through His work in saving mankind.
For they’ve never cared what God wishes
to achieve and gain through His work.
They exploit His work for blessings.
Not caring for God’s heart,
they are preoccupied with their own prospects and fate.
Chorus
The saddest thing about mankind’s belief
is that man conducts his own management,
paying no heed to the work of God
or God’s management, His management.
Verse 3
Those who resent God’s management
and don’t care how God saves mankind
are doing what they like
away from God’s management.
Their behavior is not remembered
or approved of by God,
nor is it looked upon with favor by Him.
Chorus
The saddest thing about mankind’s belief
is that man conducts his own management,
paying no heed to the work of God
or God’s management, His management.
