As this pandemic spreads throughout the world, most people feel that the great disasters are upon us. People feel panicked and don't know what to do except isolate themselves and stay at home. They don't know how to protect themselves from the pandemic, or how to escape the great disasters. The Lord Jesus long ago prophesied: "Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences" (Luke 21:10–11). The pandemic and every other disaster that occurs do so with God's permission. He uses them to warn mankind, to tell us that we must repent without delay. But what is true repentance? So many believers think that praying and confessing to the Lord more intensely is true repentance, and that God will then save them from the great disasters. But is that really the case? Watch this crosstalk, Facing the Pandemic, to find out how we should really repent to God in the face of these disasters.
