He always regarded repaying kindness as his guiding standard for self-conduct. When the church asked him to write an evaluation of an acquaintance who had helped him during a difficult time, he deliberately concealed the truth to repay the person's kindness. As a result, he delayed the work and caused setbacks. After reading God's words, he gained discernment regarding the traditional cultural idea of repaying kindness and realized that repaying kindness is not the principle of how one should conduct themselves.
