Most people in the religious world believe that "all scripture is given by inspiration of God," and that all in the Bible is God's word. Does this kind of statement agree with the facts? The Bible is only the testimony of God, a record of God's work, and is not entirely made up of God's utterances. Within the Bible, only the words spoken by Jehovah God, the words of the Lord Jesus, the prophecies of Revelation and the words to the prophets given by inspiration of God, are God's word.
