Li Jia has always taken "Be strict with yourself and tolerant of others" as a guiding principle for his behavior. He always indulges and is tolerant of those around him and he bears the majority of responsibility when faced with difficulties in the work. Yet, because of this, the church's work is delayed, and he feels more and more fatigued. He becomes unsure: Is "being strict with yourself and tolerant of others" really the behavioral standard that man ought to abide by? What lies behind this standard of moral conduct?
