Sermon Series: Seeking True Faith | The Lord Jesus Has Redeemed Mankind, So Why Would He Do Judgment Work When He Returns in the Last Days?

January 18, 2022

2,000 years ago, the Lord Jesus incarnate was crucified to redeem mankind's sins, acting as a sin offering and completing His redemption work. Believers in the Lord all think that their sins have been forgiven, so they are no longer seen by the Lord as sinful, and when He returns they will be taken directly into the kingdom of heaven. And so, people are constantly gazing at the sky, longing for the day they will suddenly be raptured up into the heavens and meet with the Lord. But to their great surprise, as they watch the great disasters unfold before their eyes, they have yet to see the Lord Jesus descend on a cloud. Instead, Eastern Lightning has been consistently bearing witness that the Lord has already returned, that He is Almighty God in the flesh, testifying that He is expressing truths and doing the work of judgment beginning with the house of God, and He has already made a group of overcomers. This is entirely contrary to people's notions and imaginings. That's why many people are asking: The Lord Jesus has already redeemed mankind and His great work has been completed. Why would God perform the work of judgment in the last days? Let's seek the truth on this in today's episode of Seeking True Faith and find the answers together.
