1108 Defying God Can Only End in Punishment
I
God has spent several thousand years completing His management, passing through several ages to manage His mankind. The thing He wishes least to see is mankind, whom He saves, defying Him, and less than that does He wish to see instances of people who once enjoyed His grace betraying Him. All He does is meant to save more people, to gain more people who understand His intentions and are of one mind and one heart with Him, enabling them to enter into His kingdom and enjoy His promises.
II
Therefore, what He most abhors is when defiance arises within His house. Is there a better stance for Him to take toward those who defy Him than one of punishment and cursing? What choice do those who are punished have? Defying, blaspheming, and betraying God can only end in punishment. This is the disposition of God and the best way for Him to deal with evil people. Never has a single person escaped from it. It was so before, it is so now, and it will be so in the future; it’s an eternal, unchanging fact.
