In this episode, we will report on the persecution of four elderly Christians by the CCP. Li Shouxin and Ning Ping are Christians from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The couple, then aged 77 and 69 respectively, were arrested by the police on November 23, 2018, for safeguarding church money. Later, Li Shouxin was sentenced to one year in prison, and Ning Ping was sentenced to one year and two months. During his detention, the police ordered inmates to beat and abuse Li Shouxin over a prolonged period. This progressively worsened his prostatitis, and he subsequently developed symptoms such as poor blood flow to the heart, palpitations, and insomnia. He later also developed emphysema. Upon his release, he was incredibly weak. But the police kept showing up at their home to harass and intimidate them. The prolonged torment of illness and the mental stress caused Li Shouxin's condition to deteriorate further. He tragically passed away on September 25, 2024, after medical treatments failed to bring down a persistent high fever from a lung infection. To this day, the police still frequently show up at Ning Ping's door to photograph and harass her. She has known no peace. Zheng Xun, a Christian from Heze, Shandong Province, was wanted and hunted by the CCP for 22 years for transporting church books. In 2024, at the age of 71, Zheng Xun was arrested by the police and sentenced to three years in prison. Wang Ying, a Christian from Pinghu, Zhejiang Province, was arrested and sentenced to six months in prison in 2019 for hosting brothers and sisters for gatherings. Her sentence was temporarily suspended because she had severe hypertension at the time. In 2024, even though Wang Ying was 73 years old and suffering from severe conditions like cerebral infarction and coronary heart disease, the police still tricked her into going with them under the pretext of a medical checkup, and threw her in prison for six months. When Wang Ying was released, she had been tortured into a state of delirium. Unable to walk, she was barely clinging to life. Please watch this episode.
