The main character was once a theater actor, and after gaining her faith in God she acted in a few gospel movies for the church. Just when she's longing for the day she can get a lead part and become a star, she learns that she failed her audition. Her hopes of becoming a star are dashed, and she feels crestfallen and in pain…. After experiencing being exposed and judged by God's words, she comes to understand and detest the misguided goals she has been pursuing, and she realizes the consequences of running after name and status. She gives up seeking to become a star and begins to do her duty with her feet planted firmly on the ground.
