During his time as a leader, his arrogance, self-righteousness, and arbitrary behavior disrupted and disturbed the church's work, leading to his dismissal. Later, he gained some understanding of his arrogant and conceited disposition and was reassigned to new duties. However, he became suspicious and defensive after hearing a word from the leader, fearing he might fall back into his old ways, be revealed, and ultimately be eliminated. In subsequent work, his fear of being seen as arrogant made him hesitant to uphold principles when he noticed issues, which hindered the work. In self-reproach, he began seeking the truth, and God's words helped him gain some understanding of himself.
