After being arrested by the Chinese Communist Party, she was unable to stand the torture and sold out a family that safekept the church's money, committing a serious transgression. After returning to the church, she did her duty with a mentality of atoning for her sin. When she saw that a Judas from the church was cleared out, she thought that her transgression was very severe and that she may be cleared out as well, and so she lived in a state of dejection, no longer resolving to pursue the truth and being perfunctory in the performance of her duty. Through reading God's words, she understood His will in saving people, and emerged from the negative emotions that her transgression had caused.
