She was elected as a church leader but was worried that her lack of experience and inability to follow up on work would lead others to look down on her. To protect her face and status, she tried to shirk her duties. Through reading God's words, she gained some understanding of the nature of her pursuit of reputation and status, and also understood the significance of God’s house promoting and cultivating people. She was then able to accept her duties calmly.
