Verse 1

The incarnation is God’s appearance in the flesh.

He works among mankind in a man’s body.

So God incarnate must be flesh

with normal humanity.

Incarnating means God lives and works in flesh.

In His very essence He becomes human.

Verse 2

There cannot be flesh without humanity.

And no one is human without it.

When God takes a body,

His humanity is intrinsic to Him.

Never say that when God becomes flesh,

He’s wholly divine and not at all human.

This is blasphemy,

defies the truth of incarnation.

Since God becomes flesh,

His essence is a combination

of humanity and divinity.

This combination is called God Himself,

God Himself on earth.

God’s work is done by the divinity

hidden in His humanity.

His flesh is the performer

of His divine work as both a man and God.

God becomes a man, inside a body with essence of both,

thus above all plain humans.

Among those with a shell that’s human like His,

among all with humanity,

He and only He is the incarnate God Himself.

All others are just human.
