Kingdom Gospel Chat Room, Ep. 11: A Feature Interview With American Andy Gwynne, Former Project Manager at Motorola and Supplier Manager at Nokia

August 19, 2026

Andy Gwynne spent over 20 years at global telecom giants like Motorola and Nokia. Starting on the factory floor, he worked his way up to Project Manager and Supplier Manager, managing global projects and optimizing business processes until he hit the peak of his career. He firmly believed that if he just worked hard enough, he could change his fate and create his own success. But just as his career was taking off, a series of unexpected turns of events completely derailed his life. He went from being a manager at a multinational corporation to stocking shelves at Walmart, and then went on to work on a factory assembly line, and it seemed like his abilities, experience, and stellar resume that he had once been so proud of had become worthless overnight. After giving it his all only to watch one opportunity after another slip away, he started asking himself: Why is it that the harder I work, the less things end up going my way? Is a person's fate really in their own hands? In this episode of Kingdom Gospel Chat Room, Andy Gwynne shares the dramatic twists and turns of his life, and how he found his true direction after hitting rock bottom.
