He was arrested for believing in God, and the police subjected him to forced standing, intimidation, and even burned his arms with fire, forcing him to sign the "Three Statements" to betray God. Fearing further torture, he signed the "Three Statements." After that, he lived in pain and self-blame. Although he continued doing his duty, he felt that by signing the "Three Statements," he had betrayed God and had no chance of salvation, and so he wallowed in despondence. It was God's words that led him out of his negativity and misunderstandings, allowing him to face his transgression correctly.
