She had been away from home for years doing her duty. As she grew older and developed various health problems, she began to worry about her future. She wanted to maintain a good relationship with her son and daughter-in-law and to take care of her pregnant daughter-in-law, so that she could rely on her son to care for her in old age. However, due to the CCP's arrests, she was unable to stay at home and care for her daughter-in-law, so she fell into sorrow and anxiety, worried that her son might not care for her in the future. After reading God's words, she gained discernment about the idea of "raising children to care for you in old age," and came to understand that God is her true support.
