Because of her belief in God, she was pursued by the Chinese Communist Party and was unable to return home, unable to be with her parents and take care of them. When she learned that her father had been in a car accident and broke his wrist, and the driver was unwilling to pay compensation, she was anxious and worried but couldn’t go home to help her parents. She felt full of guilt and self-blame. Later, she found out that her father got coronary heart disease and, due to missing her, had developed depression. This caused her even more pain, even to the point of regretting leaving to do her duties. Through reading God’s words, she understood how to properly treat her parents' kindness, and also knew that fulfilling her duties is the mission entrusted by God.
