December 28, 2023
When his age and poor health begin to affect his work results, the protagonist is reassigned to a different duty and thus descends into negativity. He wonders if he still has any hope of being saved given that he is now old, with declining energy and memory, and unable to comprehend much truth or accomplish much in his duty. How does he ultimately break out of this negative state? What does he learn from the experience?
